Don’t be misled by the property reviews. While it is quite close to Walking Street, it’s located in a very narrow lane and the surrounding area isn’t very pleasant. The host was courteous enough to offer early check-in and late check-out, which is appreciated. However, the overall standard of the room is disappointing — the AC is not effective, and even the bathroom lock is faulty. Additionally, I was allotted a room on the 4th floor in a building without a lift, which was quite inconvenient. Also, for the first time, I experienced a rule where footwear has to be removed at the entrance of the building, which may not be comfortable for all guests. Lastly, the room was described as having a “city view,” but in reality, it only overlooks a narrow lane, which feels misleading.

The room was clean overall but there is an unpleasant smell. Probably need’s a new mattress. Otherwise would be 5 star. I had the cheap room with no window. With the extraction fan it is well ventilated nonetheless, great private bathroom for the price. The service was great, good breakfast for the price and delivered very efficiently. I love the area, there is all kinds of life in those alleyways. It did not feel unsafe or sketchy, it’s just a vibrant area full of character. Special mention for Hao who was always so helpful and friendly, he made me feel very welcome. All staff great.

Actually, we almost gave it an excellent mark. ALMOST because we were not given our booked room on our 1st day in our booked SG Cozy House (self-check in) property. Instead, they gave us a couple room which had windows & terrace - which seemed better for most than our no-window/no terrace originally booked room - but it was on the 5th flr, with NO LIFT! We specified in our request that my husband & I are aged 66/65 yo.On our 2nd day, we were very pleased to be allowed to move in to our originally-booked room -at their self check-in property. Still no lift - but we were just above the reception area. All rooms & common areas are clean, with complete amenities, wifi, AC working well, free storage, and more importantly - friendly & attentive staff. Will highly recommend this hotel.

What I enjoyed most was the contrast.Outside: music, lights, crowds, laughter spilling through Bui Vien until late into the night.Inside: a calm little room, cool air conditioning, soft bed, silence. The hotel is simple, modest, and genuine. Very good location near Ben Thanh Market and easy to walk around District 1. A thoughtful stay for travelers who prefer experiences over luxury.

Stayed here for 4 days recently and for the price,it's a bargain!! |Yes,it's not the Ritz or a fancy 5 star hotel, but the rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Simple but very tasty breakfast. The lady at the spa/massage cross the street is very good. |I stayed in fifth floor and could barely hear any noise from the noisy streets at all. Go for it! Very good location :)

A discreetly charming establishment tucked within the vibrant pulse of the city. The interiors are modest yet curated with a sense of calm practicality. What distinguishes Saigon Cozy II Hotel, however, is its attentive service—quiet, efficient, and never intrusive. The staff anticipates needs rather than merely responding to them. For travelers seeking a balanced blend of accessibility and repose, this property delivers with understated elegance.

I stayed in Saigon for 5 days and wanted something simple: cheap, clean, and close to Bui Vien nightlife. Saigon Cozy was exactly that. Step outside and the city is alive; close the room door and it feels quiet enough to rest. Great value for District 1.

Location is great! Good for travelers that doesn't have much luggage, not advisable to bring heavy and bulky luggages as the hotel doesn't have an elevator. Cleanliness is fair, pillow is hard and I had to use my neck pillow and some clothes to have a comfortable sleep. Overall if on a tight budget and just need some 1-2 days place to stay this is an option.
