The hotel is excellent for the price if you only need a nice place to stay overnight. Everything is great except for how it looks from outside because you need to walk down a garage driveway to reach the receptionist and the elevators. That would be a plus if you have a bike but can be a turnoff due to the appearance. I guess that's why you get a great deal. If you don't have a need to impress people with the outside appearance of your hotel,, grab it.

Solid stay. the rooms were clean, but we noticed the floors weren't the cleanest. Facilities were good but youtube didn't work on the TV. Service was great from the night staff. one of the friendliest guys we've ever met. he didn't speak english but always used the translator to ensure he could communicate with us. Had motorcycle rental on site for 300k VND per day, good value for a good bike. Location was good. 10 minutes driving to Ben Thanh, 20 minutes to chinatown. Highlands and Paris baguette next door and a GS25 steps from the hotel. VP bank ATM 8 minutes walk north for those looking for a no fee ATM

The entire staff was very accomadating. The room was very clean and roomy. The location allows easy access to all the sites, the Imperial Palace, War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral. If you like to walk all can be reached. The neighborhood offers a wide variety of restaurants literally meters away. We stayed here twice and would do it again when in HCMC. The price is very good.

Solid, good budget hotel. Nothing fancy. You get what you pay for here. Spent 3 nights. Located in District 3 with plenty of restaurants, cafes, mini markets, shops, pharmacies all within walking distance. Shower and bathroom are fine. Bed was okay, not bad, not great. Pillows weren’t great but it was only 3 nights so I made it work. WiFi worked fine. Room was clean, didn’t have a window so it was quiet. No noise from the streets outside. Air conditioning was good. Found a nice cafe on the street behind the hotel. Good staff. One employee speaks fluent English and was courteous, helpful. My flight was in the evening so they let me pay a fair amount extra so that I could check out 4 hours later than normal. If I go back to District 3, I would stay there again and recommend it for the budget traveler.

My stay at Thien Tai Hotel was a nightmare. The staff were clearly untrained in customer service and consistently spoke to paying guests with a rude, disrespectful attitude. The receptionist in particular was aggressive and confrontational, and her behavior escalated into a serious argument that should never happen in any professional hotel. Although the room was clean, it was extremely noisy. On the day of checkout, I received a call at 10:30 AM reminding me to leave. At exactly 12:00 PM, staff came to my room, opened the door without permission, and demanded that I leave completely ignoring the “Do Not Disturb” sign hanging on the door. This was unacceptable and a clear violation of guest privacy. Overall, the hotel operates like a cash grab business with no respect for its guests. I was treated like nothing more than money, not a customer. I strongly advise travelers to avoid this hotel.

First of all, was this place trained their employees and guards? I went to this place for the first time and I don’t know how to use the elevator, obs. The reception DON’T EVEN CARE for intrusion or anything. I really upset about this. Additionally, the price here way more higher than others. While the service and room are terrible. Never come back to this place. How can this place even get 4.4 overall?

Extremely rude front desk staff. I have never experienced customer service at such a low level.

I really enjoyed staying here. The location is great and very convenient for going to popular places in Ho Chi Minh. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, and their English is excellent—even the security guard! The room facilities are good, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay.
