  The night bus was really cool and really refreshing with the wind! You get to see all important places of the city in a short amount of time and the pricing is affordable too. You also get beautiful views of the skyline!🌃 I recommend to go a bit earlier when it‘s just about to get dark (at around 18:00) because when we came back at around 19:00 there was a huge line waiting. Would definitely do again👍🚎

  Just wrapped up the tour and I’m thrilled to have taken in the scenic views of Ho Chi Minh City’s center. It was an amazing experience visiting Chinatown on the Hop On Hop Off double-decker bus, made even better by their excellent service. I especially appreciated Bao, who joined us on the trip. He is so nice and kind, helping me with the ticket check and even assisting with the headphones. Despite the light rain, exploring Saigon with Hop On Hop Off felt wonderful.

  Just to have a feel of the much talked about illuminated Saigon in the evening, We took the last late night trip ( with no stops) of this tour during our recent trip to Vietnam, and what a wonderful experience it turned out to be. Though day city tour was a part of our itinerary, we chose to take this tour, which gave us an opportunity to see Saigon in a totally different form at night. The tour lasted about an hour. Audio system, unfortunately was not working. All the same, we just enjoyed seeing so beautifully lighted landmark buildings pass by, sitting on the roof top of the bus, on a cool pleasant evening.

  Tried the Hop‑On Hop‑Off Bus Tour in Ho Chi Minh City (booked via Klook) and overall it was a fun way to see the city — especially sitting on the rooftop for great views, even though there’s no air‑cond up there. The open deck made sightseeing more enjoyable and the route hits a lot of key spots, making it convenient for first‑time visitors. That said, some reviewers online mention mixed experiences: a few said stops can be poorly marked and hard to find, commentary or audio guides aren’t always reliable, and wait times between buses can be longer than expected, so it’s not perfect for everyone.

  I tried the hop‑on hop‑off tour and did both the morning ride and the evening one. The staff were polite, but there was basically no English spoken, so half the time I had to rely on sign language, which was funny but also a bit inconvenient. The drivers, on the other hand, were extremely rude and seemed pretty intolerant toward tourists, which is strange considering their entire job is dealing with tourists, not locals. The bus itself was in average condition, nothing impressive. I still recommend doing both tours though. The daytime ride is a bit hot, but the evening one is really nice with all the lights and much less traffic. I actually enjoyed the evening tour a lot more. Overall, it’s a good way to explore the city even with the flaws.

  Bus seats are small and hard so by the end of the 1 hour night ride we couldn't wait to get off. The best part was when everyone got up to deboard the bus and then the driver decided to suddenly pull forward causing elderly and children to fall down the stairs, no apology given. An toàn trên hết! The night route is poorly designed as the second half of it passes by nothing notable and you just sit in traffic hoping for it to be over. There is also no narration at all unless you happen to bring a pair of wired headphones with a 3.5mm jack. A genuine local Vietnamese experience!

  Good >> the view, the route, the bus Bad >> also the view (blocked), departure time, seat arrangement =========================== I bought the ticket by walking in to the counter at the post office at about 16:40. The staff told me the next bus for me would be at 17:00. Little did I know that it's not an empty bus for those buying the ticket at 17:00, but crowded one with passengers from previous time slots. When the bus arrived, the staff did not let me boarding at first since almost all seats were occupied. After some unclear discussion among them, they finally let me in, and I got the last-third-row seat, which clearly made it hard and uncomfortable to enjoy a good view, let alone take some decent pictures. If only I knew from the beginning that's what I would get, I would never take this bus in the first place. =========================== To consider before buying (for passengers) Evening time slots, between 16:00 - 20:00, seem to be the most crowded. If you only want to have a glimpse of the city and some places of interest, this bus may be an option. Be warned, if you expect to enjoy a good view and take good pictures, then it depends on the time slots you choose and your luck. There is no seat number; They just get you to board any bus that arrives that may still have an empty seat. If you get an aisle seat or any seat after the fifth row, then you better manage your expectations about good view and good pictures. You will most likely view and shoot people's back and body. Some passengers stand up to take shots without considering the comfort of others. In this case, then what you pay is not worth it at all. =========================== Feedback for Management >> Make a rule that all passengers must be sitting on their seat, no standing up. >> Have a staff member on the upper deck to enforce it. It's to respect the passengers on the middle and back rows to have the same chance to enjoy the view and take some decent photos. Those sitting at the back pay too to get the tickets. >> Seats from the first to the third row should be offered at higher rates, incrementally. Label those seats "premium", because those front rows enjoy better views and greater chances of taking better pictures.

  I agree with other reviewers that other busy companies could be better. Firstly, no headphones were provided and the bus was dirty. Next the usher rudely told us to change seats as we had odd people in the family so one of us was sitting in a double seat. We are happy to share, but only if there is truly a need. There were still many empty seats as we were early to board. We waited so long and we had to wait until the whole bus is full. Too much waiting. The tour was only like 25% impressive light viewing and night life, the rest are mostly back roads. Finally I paid via my credit card at their hand held terminal. I only swiped at a reputable hotel before that. Within 24 hours afterwards I had 3 fraudulent transactions from usd 144 and sgd 6.98 Roblox games. I don’t know who got my credit details between these 2 vendors, but ….
