We had an incredible experience with Kim Travels Vietnam! We booked the Mekong Delta and Cu Chi Tunnels tour, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was well organized, and we were so glad we chose this tour. It was the perfect mix of adventure, fun, culture, and history, keeping us engaged throughout the day. A very special thanks to Mr. Bob, our tour guide. He was energetic, encouraging, and had a great sense of humor, which made the entire journey even more enjoyable. He made sure we experienced every activity, shared interesting facts and stories, and looked after everyone in the group. His enthusiasm and friendly nature truly made the tour memorable. We highly recommend Kim Travels Vietnam to anyone visiting Vietnam. If you get Mr. Bob as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable experience!

Mekong River tour with KIM Travels Vietnam turned out to be one of the most memorable highlights of our visit to Vietnam. This full-day experience, starting early in the morning and ending late in the evening, was perfectly organized from start to finish. We were picked up directly from our hotel and traveled in a very comfortable bus before transitioning to a boat, and finally to traditional rowing boats—each stage adding its own charm to the journey. The variety of transport made the experience both relaxing and adventurous. A special mention goes to Mr. Phong from KIM Travels, who was truly outstanding. He was not only friendly and helpful but also deeply attentive to the safety and comfort of all visitors, which made a big difference throughout the tour. There were many fascinating highlights along the way. The visit to a crocodile farm was particularly eye-catching, where we even had the chance to feed the crocodiles—an exciting and rare experience. The bee farm was another interesting stop, offering insight into local honey production. One of the most delightful moments was enjoying a traditional folk music performance by local villagers. While listening to the soothing music, we were served a variety of fresh local fruits, adding an authentic cultural touch to the experience. Lunch, prepared in a traditional local style, was also delicious and satisfying. Overall, the Mekong River tour was a wonderfully enjoyable and well-rounded experience, combining nature, culture, and local hospitality. It is highly recommended for anyone visiting Vietnam.

We did the MekongDelta, My Tho & Coconut Village Ben Tre Tour and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! You get to see and eat so many interesting things for very little money and can really dive into the local culture! Especially our guide, Mr. Phong, was extremely entertaining and friendly. It was awesome to listen to his interesting talks and the way he conveyed all the information was impeccable. You could really feel his enthusiasm for this job. The Hotel pick up was on time and there were barely any waiting times. Everything went super smooth. We really could not have wished for a better experience!! 100% recommend this tour!! 🤩

We had an amazing experience with our tour guide, Mr. Tuan! He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and made our trip so enjoyable. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time. What really touched us was his kindness towards my son he even bought him a football, even though he absolutely didn't have to. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and made our trip even more special. Thank you, Mr. Tuan, for your kindness, generosity, and outstanding service. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting ho chin minh. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a wonderful Mekong Delta tour and really enjoyed the whole experience. Our guide was funny, always in a great mood, and had a real talent for connecting with everyone in the group, no matter where they were from. He made the day entertaining, informative, and very enjoyable. The only downside for us was seeing around 30–40 crocodiles kept in a small enclosure on Coconut Island, which was quite sad. Apart from that, everything was well organized and we had a fantastic time. Thank you for a memorable day – we would definitely recommend this tour! Team Banana 🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌

"Authentic" on Paper, Mass Tourism in Reality – Mekong Tour with KIM TRAVEL KIM TRAVEL sells its day tour "Mekong Delta, My Tho & Ben Tre Coconut Village" with the promise of genuine encounters: authentic rural life, unspoiled villages, the "real heart of Southern Vietnam." What we experienced on the ground had little to do with authenticity – it was staged mass tourism, efficiently timed to push through as many groups as possible. At every stop the same sales counter was waiting: honey, coconut candy, snake wine. The beekeeping, the coconut farmer, the folk music – all of them routines repeated for the next boatload of tourists. The honeycomb, the python around your neck, the puffed rice in the wok are not spontaneous glimpses but show elements of a set that plays out hundreds of times a day. The advertised "untouched island world" is a label too: on the narrow canals there is, at times, a congestion that puts Saigon's rush-hour traffic to shame – the rowing boats pile up bow to stern, loaded and unloaded by the minute. The idyllic sampan experience of the promotional photos is, in reality, partly a queue on the water. The saving grace was our guide, Mister Lee – cheerful, funny, and with an infectious manner that noticeably softened the disappointment with the program. It is thanks to him that the day was fun despite everything. What stings the most: I did this same tour twelve years ago, with a different operator – and back then everything still rang true. We actually visited families on their own land and gained an honest insight into their lives. That is exactly what has been lost to mass tourism. Bottom line: Entertaining and, for the price, solidly organized – but "authentic" is the last thing this tour was. Anyone looking for real encounters in the Delta won't find them here; anyone wanting a comfortable sightseeing round with photo highlights is well served. Thanks to Mister Lee, the day turned out to be a good one after all.

I did two trips with this company. First to Cu Chi tunnels, which was really nice and informative with exciting experiences like firing the AK-47 and walking/crawling in the tunnels. No beggars, no pressure to buy anything. Our guide Mike was magnificent and entertaining. Five stars. The second trip to the Mekong delta started out quite nice, but here the pressure to buy was ruining the trip. Especially the boat driver on the rowing boat who spent half the trip nagging about tip, madam, tip. Money, money, money. And the fact that the guide defended this with saying that the whole trip costs the same as a breakfast in my country is just another insult. Then they have to add a little to the price and pay people properly. It's just not ok to not pay the employees and make them bother the guests like this. Other than that, our guide Tim did a good job. But in general, the Mekong delta trip is just not worth the time. I learned little about Vietnam except getting a little more insight into the tourist industry. One star for this trip. The busses was not very comfortable, and on the Mekong delta tour the driver was reckless and kept full speed over speed bumps making the travel really unpleasant. In general, I do not recommend Kim Travels for budget tours.

Our Mekong Delta tour started off well, but our lunch experience was very disappointing. There seemed to be a miscommunication with our tour guide, Trung, who introduced himself and preferred to be called “Mr. President.” Since there were many groups, he directed everyone to different tables. We even asked him where we should sit, followed his instructions, and settled down. Unfortunately, while everyone else had already been served, the three of us waited for over 30 minutes without receiving any food. During that time, Trung never checked on us or asked if we had been served. When a restaurant staff member finally called him over, we simply asked why we still hadn’t received our lunch. Instead of helping us, he immediately assumed we didn’t want Vietnamese food and responded in a defensive, rude tone. That was never the issue. We were simply asking why we had been overlooked after waiting for so long. He insisted he had pointed us to the correct table, but none of us saw him do that. A simple apology or even checking on us earlier would have resolved the situation. On the other hand, our Cu Chi Tunnels tour with Bao was excellent. Bao was professional, friendly, attentive, and had great communication skills. He made sure our group of three was always together, checked regularly if we needed anything, and made the tour enjoyable from start to finish. We appreciate the agency for organizing both tours, but we hope they ensure that all guides, including their partner guides, provide the same level of professionalism and customer service. Thank you, Bao, for giving us such a wonderful Cu Chi Tunnels experience.
