I can't recommend Saigon Happy Tour enough for the 2 tours we spent with Stag. The tours are designed to show the lives of locals with minimal other tourists. The first tour was a motorbike with Kim, Kurt, Kevin and Stag. First and foremost, the food was fantastic, every spot a winner of balanced, authentic, and straight-up-tasty Vietnamese food. I found myself enjoying the city more and more while winding our way from district to district, embedded safely on the back of Kyle's motorbike amongst the sea of locals on their motorbikes. Kurt and Kim definitely had a fun attitude and I appreciate what they added to the tour. The 2 day tour of the Mekong was equally gratifying. It is a true privilege to have a glimpse of the daily lives of those that live off the Mekong river delta from their markets, wares, food and tourism. This tourist-trap-light itinerary felt genuine and sharing, allowing me to appreciate the very reason I like to travel. Stag is a very impressive young man and I wish him nothing but the best. It's bittersweet to not have had more time with any of these guides, they felt like friends that I'm going to miss.

Hands down THE best food tour we did in all of Vietnam (and we did a lot!). Most tours are enjoyable, but this one was truly SO FUN. My family and I were taken around Saigon with Star and the rest of her incredible team. When booking, we didn’t realize that we would be driven around by a bunch of college kids on motorbikes but honestly it made the experience 10x better!! The energy was at an all time high and you could tell the whole team truly loved working for SaigonHappyTours. You’re taken around on motorbikes and not only did we get to enjoy the true Saigon experience of weaving through traffic, getting on their freeways, and (the highlight of the trip) being taken through the alleyways of District 4, but every food stop was incredible! There were no misses with any of Star’s stops and she truly took you on some unknown gems - I mean locations with only 2 Google reviews! We actually ended up going back to 2 of the locations the days after the tour - they really are that good! This was my favorite tour in all of Vietnam and my family still talks about how much fun we had. PLEASE book this tour if you are considering it and if you can, ask for Star - she’s amazing! (She’s also so happy to provide you additional recommendations for the rest of your time in Saigon). Cannot recommend this tour enough, truly! Thank you SaigonHappyTours for making this experience so memorable for me and my family! We’re recommending this tour to anybody and everybody that visits Saigon.

This is such a great tour. We ended up doing and seeing so much in the day but it felt chill and not rushed at all. Everyone we met along the way was so incredibly warm and kind. A day to remember! Our guide Stag is very friendly and fun but also knowledgeable and passionate. Our group had a lot of fun together and Stag’s vibes are definitely part of the reason. I am vegan (only one in the group) and for breakfast Stag brought a delicious Bahn Mi. Several of the dishes for lunch were vegan and were incredible. Throughout the tour Stag would point out what was vegan (most things were). He chose an excellent selection of foods from the market for us to try.

We had a fabulous time with our tour guide, Stag on our visit to Mekong Delta. He is a lot of fun and very engaging. The tour is nicely organized. We were picked up at the hotel on time and given a delicious vegetarian banh-mi for breakfast. We got to visit a wet market, cruise on the Mekong river, went further inside to the islands on a sempak, walked through a jackfruit orchard, went on a motorbike tour to visit a Durian farm, watched rice wraps, puffed rice and coconut candy being made, and finished with a fabulous home-cooked lunch. We were also lucky to meet a nice group of people on this tour and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!!

Five stars isn't enough for Saigon Happy Tours. We booked two separate trips with them, and they completely blew us away with their authenticity, care, and incredible hospitality. 🚣♂️ The Mekong Delta with Daniel Our day trip to the Mekong Delta was exceptional. Our guide, Daniel, took us far beyond the standard tourist tracks to give us true local insights. We visited authentic farms, witnessed the beautiful final remnants of the floating market in that part of the delta, and finished the day with an absolutely amazing meal. Daniel’s knowledge and warmth set the bar incredibly high. And so much fun chatting to Daniel’s family, seeing photos and learning the history of the area. 🛵 The Last-Day Food Tour with Vic & Kim Before flying out on our final day, we chatted with the owners about how to cap off our trip. They recommended their food tour, and it was outstanding! Our guides, Vic and Kim, were an absolute delight—so fun, incredibly knowledgeable, and the ultimate pros. Navigating Saigon's bustling streets can be intimidating, but they were such safe drivers that we felt completely comfortable and relaxed the entire time. They turned our final day into an unforgettable culinary adventure. ✨ Why Saigon Happy Tours is special: They don't just take you on a tour; they share hidden gems you simply couldn’t find or access on your own. Best of all, it’s travel with a heart—knowing the money goes directly to supporting locals and investing back into the communities makes the whole experience even better. When we come back to Vietnam, we will 100% be booking with them again. Thank you to the whole team for making our trip so unforgettable!

My friend and I had the pleasure of joining a tour guided by Stag for our visit to the Mekong Delta. He is super engaging and funny. We were picked up from our hotel on time and offered bánh mì for breakfast. During the journey to the Mekong, Stag gave us a glimpse into Vietnamese pop culture by playing music videos on YouTube. The group also shared songs from their first concerts, which was a fun way to pass the time on the road. We first visited a wet market, where Stag bought snacks for the group to try. Then we rode bikes and mopeds to visit a durian farm. Later, we cruised along the Mekong River, stopping on and off to explore. During this time, we toured a local family’s houseboat, enjoyed fresh coconut water, and sampled liquor, coconut candy, and puffed rice from local vendors. We then ventured further onto an island to watch performances of Mekong folk songs, explore a jackfruit orchard, and take a ride on a sampan. The tour ended with an amazing homemade lunch. I highly recommend this tour!

I did the two-day Mekong delta tour with Saigon Happy Tour. The visit to the floating market on the second day was the highlight of the tour. It's still a functioning market where vegetable vendors buy from wholesalers. Even though Happy tours are pricier than others, it's worth every extra penny because it's different from all others. It took us to a boat house, a villager's home, a longan farm, places not frequented by more commercial tours. Except for the snake and fruit wine shop there are no stops at souvenir shops. If you only do the day tour, you would be missing the best part.
