I came to the VFS center for biometric collection today/3-Mar-2026 morning. I am extremely impressed and happy with the service and the whole process, started from the point of queue to the end. All of the staff are very professional, friendly, helpful and nice. Online booking and Payment were easy. Everything is well organized and perfect. They also speak English very well. Thank you very much.

Passport Renewal. Not the most helpful people. Paper pushers who obsess about irrelevant things like their arbitrary 1/2 slots like we exist to serve them. Utterly charmless. Passive aggressive. Chaotic system, where basic things like booking appointments are made impossible. Why UK government is using an inept company that famously made applying visa for India a nightmare is beyond me. Of course if you are willing to pay an exorbitant extra fee, they are there for you. Ghastly experience.

I am deeply disappointed by my recent experience with VFS Global Vietnam. What should have been a simple appointment booking process became three days of stress, wasted time, and unnecessary frustration. Every step was complicated by technical issues, payment errors, or system limitations. Instead of receiving real support, I was repeatedly told to wait for the system. If I wanted a quicker solution, I was encouraged to purchase the Premium Lounge service costing more than USD 100. My application was for two people under one business visa file for Denmark. However, the system only allowed me to complete the booking for one applicant. For the second person, I had to start the entire process again from the beginning. During this process, the payment failed, and the visa number was then locked into the failed booking, which meant I could not make a new appointment. When I contacted the hotline, I was informed that I needed to wait more than two hours before trying again. If all available slots were taken by then, I would have to accept any remaining appointment time, even though both applicants belong to the same visa file and should clearly be handled together. What was most upsetting was being told that VFS could help arrange the matter if I agreed to pay extra for the Premium Lounge service. This creates the impression that basic problems are not solved unless customers are willing to spend more money. After many years of having no choice but to use VFS in Vietnam, I feel completely disappointed. Customers deserve a system that works properly, fair treatment, and genuine support when issues happen. Instead, I experienced a process that felt exhausting, unfair, and focused more on selling extra services than providing proper customer care.

came here for passport renewals a couple times. the staff are surprisingly frank and helpful, although it’s as understaffed and inefficient as the typical UK foreign service center. appointment system seems a bit redundant; i’ve been both early and late at different times in the day and it doesn’t appear to make a difference. you just get a ticket and wait, a while. so yeah, it’s the only option so ya gotta use it. i just wouldn’t stress the times or anything and prepare to waste a good chunk of your day in a sterile room.

Horrible waiting time, the queue was big, and then inside I had to wait for 2 more hours…. It’s a 10 min procedure, why the hell they invest so much time in booking people when they won’t be attending them at the times arranged

Came to renew passport. Unhelpful staff, frankly rude staff (except for security guard). Terrible computer system. Awful experience all round. Look forward to never having to deal with them again. They don’t seem to understand they are there to provide a service. They are not doing us a favour . And they don't respond to urgent emails from people needing to make travel plans & book things. Utter mess.

The waiting time was extremely long. I waited for more than 3 hours just to submit a visa application. I arrived around 8:30 AM when the office opened, and they informed everyone that only 16 applicants would be accepted that day, and I was the 16th person. After waiting in line for about three hours, I noticed several issues with the process. While processing applications, the staff reviewed documents and collected payments, which could only be made in cash. Another major issue was that some applicants did not have all the required documents. Instead of asking them to come back later, the staff allowed them to stay and fix their documents on the spot making phone calls, rewriting documents, or preparing additional paperwork. In some cases, this took more than 45 minutes per applicant. Because of this, the waiting time became extremely long for everyone else in line. It feels like the process is optimized to accept as many applicants as possible for business purposes, rather than focusing on efficiency for people who are already prepared with complete documents. Overall, the experience was very time consuming, and I would not recommend applying here if you value your time.
