This is a great little bar, a little off the beaten track but well worth a visit. Sarah, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and the clientelle I met were all very friendly and I was treated like one of the family. Sarah has a good selection of craft beers from around Vietnam and does many good cocktails as well. The food is delicious, I had the nachos, other reviews vouch for the other choices. There is also a back room where there are retro computer games to play. I would recommend getting a Grab ride here, they will drop you on the "main" road and Doris is about 50m down the side street from where you are likely to be dropped (if in a car, a Grab bike may take you to the door!). I will certainly be back when next in Hue. (Doris is a cash only establishment, so don't get caught out ☺️).

A fabulous bar with a great vibe and sensational food. My husband and I were in Hue for five weeks and loved hanging out at Doris’s. Movie nights, quiz night and good conversations. Plus Sarah’s food is amazing. I’ve never been a fan of kale but there’s something magic in Sarah’s preparation and I could eat her kale salad every day for the rest of my life. My husband is big fan of the poutine and the cocktails. Doris’s is down a little alley and it’s well worth seeking it out. Highly recommended.

I’m still thinking about the chicken tenders and Irish fries I enjoyed at Doris! Never imagined I’d be dreaming about western food I ate in Vietnam, but I am. Come for the Aperol Spritz and excellent cocktails at Happy Hour, stay for the next level food. A meal at Doris will not only satisfy your cravings for food from back home, but greatly exceed them! There’s also a great ex pat community here with friendly people to meet from all over the world. Thank you Sarah for creating such a welcoming fun space and serving the best western food in Vietnam! This place is a treasure!

Watching Canada vs US play gold medal game for Winter Olymics 2026. Sarah is a great chef. Her aged dashing tofu was savory goodness and her peanut butter miso cookies are simply divine!

We were warmly welcomed by Sarah the owner who is passionate about serving the best food and cocktails in Hue. She turned us on to some different beers as we chatted with her and her mother Sandy as if we were best friends. We only had the marinated octopus served with fresh baked focaccia and it was super delicious. We regret that we didn’t have more time in Hue so that we could return again. You have to make an effort to find this place as there is currently no sign out front but it is well worth it. Don’t miss this charming, chill establishment.

If you’re in Hue and searching for a place that feels like home, look no further than Damn it,Doris! .This gem of a spot is more than just a bar; it’s a sanctuary for anyone who needs a warm, welcoming space with incredible food and drinks. 🫶🏻🫶🏻 Sarah’s cooking is a true labor of love—you can taste it in every bite. The menu is an adventure worth embarking on, so if you have the chance, try everything. Trust me, you won’t regret it! And the drinks? Her creations are as flavorful and creative as the atmosphere itself. I’ve visited this place so many times that I’ve lost count, and every time, it’s like coming back to family. The cozy vibes, the laughter, and the beautiful people make it an unforgettable experience. It’s a home away from home for travelers, expats, and locals alike. " Damn it, Doris! " isn’t just a place to eat and drink; it’s a space where stories are shared, connections are made, and unforgettable memories are created. Make sure to visit—you might just find your new favorite spot in Hue!

Visited the pub yesterday and met the lovely owner Sara. Tried their Pineapple flavored cider which was refreshing and tasty and paired it with pulled pork nachos which was divine! Never seen nachos anywhere else where meat and toppings were equally scattered. So delicious! The best nachos as my husband says and that I agree! Worth a visit!
