My favorite coffee shop in Hue, in my short 2 days stay I went twice! ☕️ I absolutely adore this place, both for its industrial and cool atmosphere and for the taste of its delicious coffees. People come here to do some artistic projects, work or relax, as it is a calm quite space overlooking the busy road below. They offer plenty of unique options and were helpful to advise me on my order as I have a lactose intolerance and could not have some of the coffees. Both times I ordered the same almond coffee, which tasted like a coffee nutty ice cream despite being lactose free, such a joy for my palate and felt almost like a cheat 😋 My boyfriend tried their salted coffee and crème brulee coffee and he loved them too! I would go back to Hue even just to have this coffee again, it was that good!

I had a wonderful time at Depo in Hue and it definitely deserves a five-star review. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the stylish interior, cozy atmosphere, and welcoming staff. The café has a modern yet relaxing vibe, making it a perfect place to enjoy a coffee, have a meal, or simply spend a few hours catching up with friends. The drinks were beautifully presented and tasted excellent. I especially appreciated the quality of the coffee, which was rich, smooth, and freshly prepared. The food was equally impressive, with generous portions, fresh ingredients, and great flavors. Everything we ordered arrived quickly, and it was clear that the staff paid attention to every detail. One thing that really stood out was the service. Everyone was friendly, polite, and genuinely happy to help. Even though the café was quite busy, the team remained professional and attentive, making sure every customer felt welcome. Their warm hospitality made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The location is also very convenient, and the overall ambiance makes it an ideal spot for relaxing, working on a laptop, or enjoying quality time with family and friends. The music, lighting, and décor all come together to create a comfortable environment where you can easily spend hours without feeling rushed. Overall, Depo is one of the best cafés I visited in Hue. Great food, delicious drinks, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere make it a place I would happily recommend to anyone visiting the city. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Hue. Highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Food: Very good. Everyone should try the signature salted coffee, which is famous here. If you don’t want caffeine, their fruit tea options are also worth trying. Price: Slightly higher compared to the general coffee shop market in Huế. Staff: Not very professional or well-trained, and service can be a bit slow, but still within an acceptable range. Location: Very convenient. It’s a great stop before or after visiting Đông Ba Market, making it ideal for travelers. Atmosphere: Quite crowded, but a very aesthetic place—perfect for check-ins and photos. Overall: A must-try spot when you visit Huế.

Such a cute café. We came here after wandering through the market, completely drained by the heat, and it honestly felt like a lifesaver the moment we stepped in. Depo Cafe is a bit tricky to find at first, it’s tucked away and easy to miss but that’s also part of its charm. If you get lost, just ask any local; everyone seems to know it. What makes this place special is how effortlessly it balances being cozy and lively at the same time. It has that warm, inviting energy where you can slow down, cool off, and just breathe for a bit. You’ll notice it’s not just tourists passing through, it’s clearly a local favorite, which always says a lot. The atmosphere feels genuine, unpretentious, and comforting, like a small hidden pocket of calm in the middle of a busy day.

Great coffee spot near Đông Ba Market I was initially skeptical about Đề Pô Cafe since it’s often featured on tourist lists, and I assumed it might be more of a check-in spot than a quality café. But I was pleasantly surprised, the drinks were genuinely good! I tried the Peanut & Chocolate Coffee (10/10) Coconut Coffee (9/10), Matcha Coffee (9/10), all priced ~55k. The portions were generous, and the flavors were rich and unique to Hue (not something I easily found in the diverse Ho Chi Minh City where I’m from) The vibe is also a plus: you can sit on the balcony for fresh air and a view, or inside where the decor gives off a charming, nostalgic and cozy feel. It can get a bit crowded at times, so expect some wait for the drinks. Conveniently located near Đông Ba Market and the Hàn River, this place is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Huế. Recommended!

Really lovely cafe with cool design inside. Has a nice outside seating area where you can sit on the balcony and watch road. Ordered a lychee tea which was delicious and one of the nicest I’ve had! The salted coffee tasted great too. Definitely recommend!

A great place to chill away from the market hustle and bustle. The space has been perfectly designed and fits right into the original aesthetic with an industrial feel. The mix match furniture and tiles really make it. The iced americano was good but wish I had tried one of their signatures.

tldr: cafe is located in an interesting area and the presentation is nice i was there with a group and several of us ordered different things. the consensus from them was that the drinks were all nicely presented and fairly decent in taste. i ordered the tiểu thương (crème brûlée coffee) and remembered it to be an ok drink; again the presentation was cute but not a cup of coffee i would specifically come back for; would rate it a 3/5. service was friendly. one of the staff tried really hard to get us a nice group photo; really appreciated that. the cafe itself is the draw. it’s located right above the front shops at chợ đông ba (dong ba market). the place has a lot of seating, natural light, A/C, and various spots for photo ops. also since it is located on the second floor, you can people watch. i would recommend this place if you have a group and want to chat as the noise levels are higher. if you are looking for a place to unwind in peace, i wouldn’t recommend this spot since the area it’s in has pretty high foot traffic. overall i wouldn’t come back for the coffee, but would recommend to people that are making their first ever stop in huế as it is located in a landmark area and good for groups to hang out at. note: you can park the moped at the market parking and bring down the validated receipt to bypass the parking fee. also, the cafe has various pastries; i did not get any so will not further comment on that, just wanted to mention that there are some food/snack options.
