Some of the most delicious matcha I’ve had in Vietnam! Came with friends and all our drinks were presented beautifully and tasted amazing. You can tell they care about ingredients here. I recommend the salty creamy matcha over the apple. It was so good that I came back the following day for a second. Interior is modern but inviting and clean. Great place to stop before or after some vintage shopping next door.

Cute spot for a morning coffee. I had an oat cappuccino and a peach lemon grass iced tea and both were really good. I appreciate that they offer the option to switch to oat milk with only little additional cost. The staff were lovely, super friendly and accommodating.

Really cute space with sweet employees and delicious drinks and pastries! Normally my spouse and I try to go to different cafes every day when we’re traveling, but everything here was so good we came back 3 times. We tried the salted Vietnamese coffee, mango tea, strawberry matcha, strawberry croissant, banana croissant, and mango croissant. The matcha was so delicious I’ve tried to recreate it at home but haven’t been able to replicate it. Will definitely come back next time we’re in town!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’ve been travelling Vietnam for three weeks and made a point of trying egg coffee everywhere we could, including the so-called “original” and most famous spot in Hanoi (Gian Cafe). Nothing came close to PianoLab. The egg coffee here is extraordinary. Silky, perfectly balanced, with a richness and depth that the famous Hanoi versions simply don’t have. Where others are heavy or overly sweet, PianoLab’s is refined. Each sip feels deliberate, like someone genuinely cared about getting it right rather than just riding a trend. The café itself is stunning. The piano, the atmosphere, the care taken with every detail. It all feels personal, like someone’s labour of love rather than a tourist stop. Staff were warm and attentive without being intrusive. We came once and went back a second time before leaving Hue. That says everything. If you’re in Hue, skip the Hanoi hype and come here instead. This is what egg coffee is supposed to taste like.

A foreign customer asked me to buy a cappuccino, and they tipped me a cappuccino instead. The coffee tasted quite good. The price was a bit higher than some other cafes, but the quality was good and the experience was pretty nice.

Loved the matcha at this cafe! They offered several creative flavors, the apple matcha was refreshing and the salted matcha was my favorite- quite special! All of their drinks and treats look beautiful and crafted with care. I also really enjoyed the strawberry croissant!

I waited 25 minutes for a cold ham and cheese croissant. The staff was talking and laughing and running around instead of just making a simple sandwich. The cherry on the cake. I was the only customer in the entire place. Is not like they were busy
