Trinh, Hieu, and the other staff members whose names I don’t know were all incredibly helpful and kind. I stayed here by myself for a month, and they were always there to talk and chat with me. They made me feel very welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. The location is also perfect if you enjoy walking to the Perfume River in the morning or evening, like I do. It was one of my favorite parts of staying here.

DMZ was a blast! Their restaurant and bar is under construction so that was a bit of a let down as it looked like it would be a great place to experience some nightlife, but they still open the first floor during the evenings. The rooms are good, and they have fairly comfortable beds, but everything is clean and well maintained. As a guy with a few back problems I was still able to get a good nights sleep! Trinh was an absolute pleasure, she helped me book my DMZ Deluxe Tour and she was very kind and helpful. Overall, it was a great stay! I definitely recommend checking on the construction status, not only for the noise during the day but also because I bet this place will be even better after it’s done!

Trinh was so very nice! It was very nice and ask how are sleep was. We arrived in a group with G Adventures and we had so much fun in Hué City. We wish our time here was longer and we cannot wait to come back. The DMZ restaurant next door has been open since 1994 and they have amazing soup that you must try

Honestly, the hostel offers great value for money. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the location is convenient, and the staff is helpful. I especially appreciated being able to leave my bag safely during the day while I was on a tour, which gave me peace of mind. What really made a difference, though, was when I came back feeling very dirty and exhausted before my 10-hour night bus. A very kind staff member named Trinh offered me a shower and a towel with a smile. It truly made a huge difference for the next 12 hours of my journey. Thank you so much!

Traveling to Hue for the first time by road. The hostel has amazing staff who offered real Vietnamese hospitality. Warm shower and cozy bed as well as filling breakfast. The perfect spot for anybody looking to stay in central Hue with easy access to local areas and amazing hostel facilities. Pool table. DMZ is the place that just keeps giving thanks to the whole team. 6 stars! 🌟

Wonderful hostel & very attentive staff, the best welcoming we have experienced at all the hostels we have stayed. Extremely comfortable beds, most places feel like you are sleeping on a plank of wood but DMZ has actual mattresses!! Thank you to Ms Trinh for the amazing hospitality!! Travelling with G adventures!!

I had such a lovely stay at DMZ! They hostel staff was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taking. Are of. Trinh at the front desk was particularly amazing. She helped me sort out my bus during tet when things checked getting canceled. The rooms were air conditioned, beds comfy, and the floors and bathroom cleaned daily. One of the nicest hostels I hav ever been at!

The staff are kind and helpful, but the hostel itself has several drawbacks. The dorm room is essentially windowless. The bathroom follows the common Vietnamese layout, with the shower aimed directly at the toilet, but that’s hardly an issue since the water pressure is almost nonexistent. Honestly, you’d have better luck showering with the sink. The Wi-Fi is only semi-functional. Overall, it’s an acceptable budget option.
