  Solo female traveler, stayed here 2 nights in the 4 person dorm on the second floor. It's a good, basic hostel with an enthusiastic staff. You can't beat the price. The street food (noodle soup and rice soup) kittycorner to the hostel is delicious and cheap. No need to bother with the restaurants. ||Some tips:||The bathroom on the third floor is much bigger and nicer than on the second floor. |Staff members may be smoking in the common area on the first floor, and in the staff quarters on the second floor. I couldn't smell it in the dorm room when the door was closed. But, if you're sensitive to cigarette smoke you may want to stay on the third floor.

  This hostel is very clean stayed for 2 nights. I only shared with 1 other person in the whole hostel. There is a cooking area and it is only a 5 minute walk from Big C supermarket, where you can get cheaper prices on food and water. The bed was hard and the locker provided could only fit a book. Wifi is excellent. A/c is good and there is a little balcony. Staff come in at night to make sure balcony door is locked and beds are made each day. Adjoining bathroom is huge. The citadel is about 15 minute walk away. Would stay again. $5 per night.

  Had a good stay at Hue City Hostel. Very helpful staff and were fine with us extending our stay. Helped us book our hostel in our next destination. We stayed in the 6 person dorm and was satisfied with the cleanliness and how quiet it was inside the building. The beds were a little hard and it does advertise free breakfast with your stay (but you don't get it), other than that it was a great stay, would recommend it!

  This place is really great to stay at. Especially the staff was extremely nice. It was pretty much the only time in Vietnam that everything worked out as promised and any complaints were immediately taken care of. At the same time the place is very affordable. Of course, my dorm room was nothing fancy. But it got a working air condition and a big restroom. And a (working) power plug at every bed. I could rent a bike really cheap and book an Easy Rider Tour to Hoi An and it was really the first and pretty much the only time that I did not have to care about anything. I would stay there anytime again.

  When i was looking for a hostel with a reasonable price and clean hostel i found this hostel. It was not only clean and nice rooms but also located in the central of Hue with shops and restaurants nearby. It had fan,AC,locker,restroom with hot water, packing lot. Nice and helpful stafff. In short, nice, quitet, reasonable price( 5 bucks/ night).

  Stayed here one night-if you want a proper nights sleep this hostel is the place as it's nice and quiet! The lady working at reception was extremely helpful, she advised on places to get local food, what dishes to try and what attractions to see. The dorm room is very basic and the beds are a little hard but it's great for a backpacker because it's central and very cheap-5 dollars a night. If you're looking to meet people you can go to the other hostels near by in the evenings to socialise. There's no breakfast included but there's plenty of places nearby to get a cheap breakfast.

  I am backpacker and always looking for cheap and clean place where to stay. I stayed for 3 nights in 6 person dorm. Hostel is in the centre, backpackers area, so it is very easy to find cheap street food, or walk around. The dorm was clean and nice, the staff was really friendly and always trying to help you for any question.
