On our journey through northern Vietnam in February 2025 we also passed through Hue. Here at the Nano-Eco Hostel, we had the most beautiful accommodation of our entire trip. We stayed in the top-floor room on the sun terrace. The view from the bed through the large windows was simply breathtaking. Everything was beautifully and lovingly decorated. We also loved having the option to choose between an indoor shower and an outdoor shower. Of course, we always showered outside—the weather was fantastic. Aside from the room, the rest of the accommodation was also very creatively and beautifully designed. The food, which was always freshly prepared for us, was the best we had on the entire trip. The owner was very kind and helpful. All in all, an absolute top recommendation. I really hope we get to visit Hue again someday—if we do, we’ll definitely stay here again. No question about it. Additionally, the abandoned amusement park is just a five-minute walk away. However, I have to say that we expected a little more from it.

Stayed here 2024 in one of the 4-bed hostel dorms. Very clean. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. I had issues with my motorcycle and they quickly helped fix. I hope they did not get too affected with the current (2025) floods.

Nice place to stay , warm welcome , easy accès to the Imperial City with Grab. Enjoy to walk around the lac to discover the old dragon!

We had the best stay here, such a hidden gem with amazing food, great rooms and a beautiful scenery. The place has been so well put together, you instantly feel calm on arrival. Can highly recommend anyone staying here if you’re looking for a nice calming environment with delicious food and lovely owners.

An amazing sanctuary around a 20min Grab ride away from Hue center. Very friendly staff, amazing rooms and absolutely delicious food. Can highly recommend for everyone seeking chilled vibes in the nature.

My friend and I came here together for three nights and loved our experience. I had intentionally chosen this place because I wanted to stay somewhere peaceful after our long flights, and the atmosphere was definitely that. Breakfast was yummy, the laundry services are great, and we met some lovely solo travelers. Also can leave your bags in the common area for free if you have a flight later than checkout. Great vibes all around. Good location, very close to the water park and around 2km from popular spots. We were definitely happy with our stay here 😎

Firstly I will start out with the positive, the AC is good in the room, the pool is beautiful. It’s in a peaceful atmosphere away from the town which is nice to get some nature. The food is delicious. The cons of being in this place is that it’s so far away from everything, it took over 40 mins to get the owners attention to order food. There was no one at reception in the evening and the owner failed to mention I had to ring a bell to get her attention until the second day I was there. There’s no female only dorms which can be sketchy being a female solo traveler. The front desk lady didn’t seem friendly. There was a flying roach in the room which I had to kill with my shoe. My recommendation for this place to be better is for the owner to do daily checks in the rooms and make sure there are no bugs in the rooms as well as give a tour of the place and let the visitors know where their room is and where the public hostel bathroom is. Also, have someone at the reception 24/7 and be more inviting and friendly. Lastly, and the most annoying part of this is that I ordered a buss to Phong Nah I told the front desk lady to give me the best buss with more space she said there was only two busses and the last one left at 5 pm. She told me she got me the “best” buss and I payed her for it. When I get to buss station, with the address she provided a man comes with a motorcycle and tells me to hop on, given it was the wrong buss station address, come to find out the buss she booked me was a three row buss that provides no space for a 4 hour buss ride to Phong Nha. The driver tells me I have to wait two hours for the laying down buss at 7pm. I would recommend the owner to give the visitors who are booking a bus the right information so we won’t have to waste our time waiting two extra hours at the bus stop.

Nano Eco-Hostel is a little slice of peace right next to Hue’s famous abandoned water park. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home—thanks to the incredibly kind and welcoming landlady. She runs the place like a pro, making sure everything is just right.||The space itself is beautifully designed, with a cozy, eco-lodge vibe that feels way beyond a typical hostel. Super clean, super comfortable, and just an all-around great place to unwind. The food was consistently good, and the whole stay was just... easy. If you’re looking for a quiet, well-run spot to relax in Hue, this is it!||
