  Wonderful stay in this place!! We stayed for 6 nights and was absolutely one of our best stays in the country! The place is quiet and beautiful in the middle of a 4ha pomelo garden, on the river. They have free bicycles for the guests and can arrange motorbike rentals or taxis. The room is comfortable, facing the river. The swimming pool is so big, in the middle of the garden. The food is good. And the staff!! Best staff ever in Vietnam!!! 5 stars already for the staff, from the reception to the kitchen and housekeepers. All genuinely friendly and so polite. Ask the reception for any good tips and places in Hue, and you’ll get some hidden gems! Thanks Quinn and Linh, you have been so precious!! By motorbike, it is 15-17 minutes from the old city. A bit further from the touristic hub but this is what you’re looking for when you choose a quiet place with big garden, at 3 steps away from town… Definitely and totally recommended 100 %

  I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hue Riverside Boutique Resort & Spa. The location is a hidden gem—peaceful and surrounded by nature. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a stunning view of the river. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of local options. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Hue!

  Our group of nine families stayed at Hue Riverside Boutique Resort & Spa last weekend. While the location along the Perfume River is peaceful and picturesque, it was unfortunately one of the few highlights of our stay. We arrived around 2 PM on a hot and humid afternoon, expecting a warm welcome. Instead, there was no staff on hand to greet or assist us. A tray of cool drinks was placed inside the reception room, but guests had to serve themselves — without a word of welcome, explanation, or orientation. For a resort that promotes itself as a boutique experience, this lack of hospitality was disappointing from the outset. The resort’s appearance is rustic, but not in a curated or charming sense. It felt tired and poorly maintained. Rooms were basic and dated. Service throughout our stay was minimal and lacked any personal touch. While the riverside setting is lovely, the experience overall did not match the standard advertised — especially in terms of service and accommodations. I hope the management takes feedback like this seriously and makes meaningful improvements, as the potential is certainly there.

  We can’t recommend this hotel. We arrived late, stayed 1 night and left the following morning. Staff were nice, they’re doing their best but it seems a resort in decline. Rooms and gardens seem poorly maintained. Photos online possibly reflect the resort from a few years ago, they’re certainly not recent.

  The hotel is on the banks of the Perfume River that is very peaceful and quiet. There is a lovely swimming pool in the hotel that helps to relax. Breakfast have good selection of dishes for both Vietnames and western styles. This hotel free bicycle and boat for all the guests, I guess maybe it is far several kilometers from the city. I had an interesting experience here when spent one day to take a boat along to Perfume River. Highly recommend this hotel.

  Very beautiful grounds. You're in the middle of a garden and a short bike ride or grab from the city center. When I was there the advertised gym was under construction (being used as a storage space) and the buffet breakfast was only available if the hotel had enough people. The food was a little bland but there was plenty of it. The staff is very kind and always helpful. Nice place to unwind.

  A number of reviews have commented on the location of this resort. It is located beside the river, about 5km from Hue. At the time of our visit (late April 2024) there was road work on the last couple of km’s of the road before the resort. We were told this should be finished within the next few months. However we had drivers pick us up and drop us off without incident. We also saw other guests using taxis, and we had no problems getting Grab cars to collect us and take us back (for a total cost of less than US$10 for the 2 trips). The shuttle referred to on the hotel website is not currently operating, but we did not see access as an issue.||As an upside of the location it was very peaceful at night (our previous stop had been at Hoi An where the river resort we stayed at in the centre had been quite noisy at night.)||Some comments have also been made on the gardens being over grown and the resort being run down. We did not see it this way. The gardens are not formal – they include fruit trees which are being farmed for their fruit – but they were being actively maintained. The pool is very nice. (See photos)||The room was comfortable and clean and tidy with excellent air conditioning. The bed was very hard and some more storage space in the room would be good.||The staff were all friendly and very eager to help with things like organising transport and suggesting places for meals.||The resort was not very busy at the time of our stay. As a result, while they had the breakfast buffet operating on our first morning (a weekend), on week days the routine was to collect a form from reception to select your breakfast and time, and drop it back to reception the night before – it was then served in the restaurant at the time chosen. This seemed to work well. We ate in the restaurant the first night, and the food was good, though we were the only people in the room. Most guests seem to opt to get transport into Hue-proper for dinner, where there are lots of great options for a meal.||All in all a very pleasant, comfortable and quiet stay.
