  As retirees, we've had the pleasure of traveling extensively, visiting Europe, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, and staying in a range of hotels, from 5-star to 2-star establishments. Our stay at Mung Thanh Hotel in Hue, however, was a truly memorable experience. The hotel's prime location and outstanding hospitality services, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, Executive Chef, were particularly impressive. She embodies the high standards of professionalism and customer service that Mung Thanh Hotel strives to maintain, and her colleagues and customers alike benefit from her exceptional leadership. Our experience was so remarkable that we are eager to return to Hue and stay at Mung Thanh Hotel again. We wish Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam and her family all the best for their health, prosperity, and continued success in her career. 🙏

  We stayed here for 5 nights. We had an issue with our room. The manager and staff worked quickly to fix the issue and even compensated us with a free meal in the dining lounge. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms were clean. The breakfast buffet had lots of options. You must try the yogurt!

  The room was very nice and I had an amazing view. Really accommodating staff that attended to every need for me and my mom. Only downside is I wouldn’t recommend getting a massage here, the staff were lovely no complaints there- just the table they “massaged” me had no face pillow/donut hole so I was essentially tilting my neck on the bed the whole ordeal which wasn’t really relaxing and so uncomfortable. There’s an opaque hole that you can see through in the room which kinda scared me but they covered it after I kinda just awkwardly stood there and I’m pretty sure they reuse the massage towels as I saw them folding the towels they used on me into fans again.

  I stayed here for two nights, and found the staff were very eager to be helpful. Everything I asked for was dealt with efficiently, and the room was clean and tidy. The aircon worked hard to keep up all night, and I woke a few times as the temperature climbed. And outside the room, no part of the hotel was airconditioned, and was extremely hot. On the second night, I ordered room service, which was listed on the menu as an Australian Rib Eye, and I asked for medium rare. The steak that arrived was extremely rare and was definitely not a rib eye as it had a piece of gristle in the middle, which is not present in that cut. I think it was probably rump. And from the next day, I felt unwell for several days (though I can't be sure it was from the poor steak). The breakfast was also disappointing. I don't necessarily expect an exceptional western breakfast in an Asian hotel, but the western options were poor in quality, especially the bacon which was extremely tough. They do have a fresh omelette stand, which was a little better if you could find some salt. Overall, this was not a terrible stay, but it was not very impressive.

  The hotel was conveniently in the tourist part of the city. All amenities such as ATM, laundry, taxi, and so on were easily accessible. There’s also a nice Highland Cafe in the lobby. Breakfast was not bad. A mix of local and western foods. Service was also very good and accommodating.||The room was large and clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was also roomy, but the bathtub had only a half glass enclosure that did a poor job of keeping shower water from splashing on the floor.||Every evening there was loud music coming from across the street. It did not last all night but if you’re an early and light sleeper it may be an issue.||Overall, I would recommend this hotel with the noise caveat mentioned above.

  The hotel is in a convenient location, about a 20 minutes walk to the old city. Plenty of eateries and shops around. It's also just a 25 minutes drive to the train station (we took the scenic train to Danang). The room was ok and mostly clean, but the bed was very hard and the pillows felt like a sac of potato. The staff were friendly and helpful.The hotel seems to caters mainly to Chinese tour groups. They are very noisy and unruly. The breakfast area felt like a market, the bread and pastries were stale and un-edible, the bacon was hard and dry. Maybe the Asian fare was good, the continental/western fare was terrible. Would not recommend!

  The hotel is located right in the city center, close to the Imperial City and the lively Western quarter. The people here are very friendly and cheerful. From my room, I can see the beautiful and poetic Perfume River through the window. The breakfast is also very delicious. Ngân, the staff member, served me very enthusiastically and with a cheerful attitude. I felt very comfortable during my stay here. If you visit Huế, you should definitely stay at this hotel to experience its services.

  The Muong Thanh Holiday Hue Hotel is very comfortable and location allowed easy access to tourist destinations. The staff are amazing, very perspective, and pay attention to the little details. The hotel room was very well managed and if there was something that we needed they quickly helped us. It was very sweet to get a letter from the staff on arrival to our room. This is our first time ever in Vietnam and I came to celebrate a dear friend’s wedding. Their wedding was also along the time of my birthday. I got a special birthday surprise from the staff with my name on their welcome screen lobby and a cake. It very much made my day! You can tell that they value their guests and want to make sure that our experience is memorable.
