My stay at La Vela Hue Hotel was truly wonderful! 🤩 The service was absolutely excellent; the reception staff were attentive and professional. The luxurious room was everything I expected. The beautiful lobby made a great first impression. The rooftop pool on the 17th floor offered amazing views and a good design. 🏙️ The location was pretty good, though a bit of a walk for some local delights. 🚶‍♀️ The only slight drawback was the small gym with limited equipment. I didn't try the restaurants due to high prices. 🏨

I had a wonderful stay at the La Vela Hue Hotel in Vietnam. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and very clean. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and offered amazing views. One of my favorite parts was the rooftop pool, which was perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Hue. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The breakfast buffet had many delicious options, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. Although the hotel is a little outside the city center, transportation was easy with Grab or the hotel shuttle service. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hue and looking for a luxurious and relaxing experience with great value for money

An exceptional stay from start to finish. The hotel perfectly balances luxury, comfort, and impeccable service. From the warm welcome at check-in to the beautifully designed rooms, every detail was thoughtfully curated. The room was spacious, spotless, and equipped with top-tier amenities, offering both comfort and elegance. The staff truly set this hotel apart—professional, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable. Dining was another highlight, with outstanding food quality and presentation, whether at breakfast or dinner. The facilities, including the spa and common areas, were pristine and relaxing, creating a true five-star experience. This hotel exceeded expectations in every way. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking luxury, relaxation, and world-class hospitality, and I look forward to returning.

Decent hotel. Price is good. But lights stopped working in our room as soon as we got ready to go to bed. So had to sleep with a full set of spotlights. Also would be nice since they are 5 stars, If they explained how room controls worked!

I recently stayed at La Vela Hue Hotel, and overall, my experience was excellent. This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful and well-designed hotels in Hue. The architecture, interior decoration, and attention to detail make it stand out from many others in the city. Everything feels new, modern, and elegant, yet comfortable and welcoming at the same time. The room was absolutely spectacular. It was spacious, bright, and equipped with everything a traveler could need. The bed was incredibly comfortable — one of those beds where you simply sink in and get the best night’s sleep. The room also had large windows with a beautiful view of the city, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The bathroom was another highlight: it had a large rain shower with instant hot water and excellent water pressure. After a long day walking around Hue, it felt wonderful to come back and take a proper, hot shower in such a luxurious setting. On the rooftop, there is an infinity pool with an amazing panoramic view of the city. It’s truly one of the best parts of the hotel. Unfortunately, the weather during my stay wasn’t warm enough to enjoy a swim, but I still went up to take a look and was very impressed by how beautiful it was. The pool area is well designed, with comfortable sunbeds and a calm, relaxing vibe. I can imagine that during the summer it must be a perfect spot to relax with a drink and enjoy the sunset over Hue. The breakfast buffet was another strong point. It was one of the most complete breakfasts I’ve seen in a Vietnamese hotel. There was a wide selection of both Asian and Western options: fresh fruits, pastries, bread, noodles, eggs, meats, salads, juices, and coffee. Everything tasted fresh and was well presented. The service staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to clear the tables and refill anything that ran out. It really felt like the kind of breakfast you would expect from a top-class hotel. However, not everything was perfect. The main disappointment was the gym. For a hotel of this category, I expected a much larger and better-equipped fitness area. In reality, it was quite small, with very few machines and almost no space to exercise properly. It seemed more like a symbolic gym than one meant for actual training. For someone who likes to work out while traveling, it was quite a letdown. On the other hand, one service that I found very interesting was that the hotel offers free electric motorbikes for guests to explore the city. You just have to leave your passport as a deposit, and you can use the scooter for up to six hours. It’s a great way to move around Hue and visit attractions like the Imperial City or the Perfume River without needing to rent a motorbike elsewhere. In summary, La Vela Hue Hotel is an excellent place to stay if you’re visiting Hue. The rooms, breakfast, and facilities are all top-notch, and the staff are professional and kind. The only real downside is the gym, which doesn’t live up to the hotel’s otherwise outstanding quality. Still, I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again in the future. A solid 4-star experience overall.

The hotel is nowhere close to a five star. It is barely a three star hotel. The room is basic and outdated. Breakfast is poor and everything is pre made, juices from the carton, milk is not fresh but long life, pancakes are straight from the box. Coffee is extra and not included in the price so if you want a cappuccino they’ll ask you to pay (is this five star service?). The bar is closed after 10pm and there is no room service during the night. The staff tries hard but it is nowhere close a five star, more like a two star in western country or Japan. Poor amenities, hundreds of screaming kids everywhere. Really poor service, poor location, poor everything. The only good point was one piece of laundry washed in no time literally two hours or so. Everything else is to avoid. The shower leaked and after reporting it they said there’s nothing they can do. They water was either hot or cold, they said there’s nothing for them to do about it. WiFi was good and fast but probably just because the router was right outside the room. Won’t go back, not worth the price.

I have stayed at this hotel five times for business trips. The hotel is clean enough, but personal safety is not guaranteed. On January 14, 2026, during my fourth stay, I drank too much at a business dinner. Around 11:00 p.m., after I returned to the hotel, I fell asleep in the corridor on my floor, near the elevator. I did not wake up until 5:00 a.m. because of the cold. During this time, no hotel staff noticed that I was sleeping next to the elevator. The next morning, I asked the hotel to show me the CCTV footage. I wanted to make sure that no one, including other guests, had any contact with me during that time.Because I was in a hurry to go to another place, the front desk helped me check for about 30 minutes, but they still could not find the footage. I had no choice but to leave first.Later, I asked the hotel to send the CCTV footage to my Zalo, but the hotel refused, saying it was commercial confidential information. After that, the hotel sent me an investigation report and said they would provide the CCTV footage the next time I stayed at the hotel. I agreed.Today, March 1, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., during my fifth stay, I asked the hotel to keep their promise and give me the CCTV footage. The staff said they needed the manager’s approval, but the manager was not at work. They said they could only ask after 8:00 a.m. tomorrow. However, I will leave the hotel very early tomorrow for work.I may never see the CCTV footage, and I will never choose this five-star hotel again. Everything above is my objective description, and I have chat records as proof. To be honest, I now have some doubts about the reality of that investigation report.

I was not expecting such a high level of hospitality! This property doesn't seem to obviously market itself as a 5-Star luxury hotel, so although I was expecting it to be nice, I wasn't prepared to be blown away, which I absolutely was. Hospitality was consistently warm and enthusiastic. My corner room was beautiful and extremely comfortable, with wrap around views and a perfect bed in which I had a beautiful, deep night's sleep.||Breakfast was FANTASTIC. Not only was it very varied with Vietnamese and Western fare as is expected, but every dish I tried was delicious! This is extremely rare for breakfast buffets of any caliber because the chefs have to prepare so many different kinds of dishes and inevitably cannot make everything perfect, but the chefs at La Vela Hue come shockingly close! This was easily one of the best breakfast buffets I've had in any hotel. And the breakfast staff were all smiles despite the chaos and crush of guests. Their warmth made my morning. 🥰 ||I will absolutely be coming back to this wonderful hotel next time I'm in Hue.
