  Spent 3 nights here in June with a group of friends before making our way to Hoi An. The hotel is located in the old town to food options, cafes, bars and surrounded by shops. Walking distance to Dong Ba Market and if you want to push it a bit even Hue Imperial City (2.5 km away). The only downside is that it is situated across a noisy nightclub. The room was huge, bed comfortable, a swimming pool on the 5th floor and breakfast with lots of food options. Most impressive is the staff/hotel honesty. Housekeeping staff Miss Ngan found my watch after check-out when I was already in Hoi An. The hotel contacted me and delivered the watch to my hotel at Hoi An, a good 2-hours away at no costs. A huge shout-out to Moonlight Hue customer service.

  Had an excellent stay at moonlight hotel. After a terrible experience on a night train from hanoi and desperately needing a nap I went to the moonlight where we negotiated a better room rate than available online and was not charged for checking in at 9am. The room on the 7th floor was facing the perfume river and had a wonderful little balcony . The bed was comfy but only two pillows, possibly the only thing I did not like , the mini bar kept drinks ice cold and has a little freezer in it. Breakfast is on the top floor accessible by lift and was ok , funny toaster but very tasty pineapple 🍍 jam. The coffee was very average and most of the food looked good but wasn't really what I like. Luckily the why not restaurant on same street made a fantastic banana pancake and grouse coffee. The staff were all very friendly always someone at desk that spoke excellent English and I heard them talking to European travellers in their languages also. My laundry dropped off in the afternoon was ready next morning and was very cheap and cleaned very well! I always felt safe here , the street out front gets very lively at night and can be quite noisy but it didn't really bother me I like the boom boom boom of dance music and didn't use the earplugs they supply next to the bed. If you do stay here watch the sunset from the rooftop bar where pina colada and mojito are very very good. Thankyou to all the staff at moonlight hotel you made my stay in hue very enjoyable 😉 😀 To those who complain because the shower leaks into the floor or the noise at night is too loud , stay home and be negative there. And you don't need a huge screen TV, I grew up with a tiny black and white one and it did not ruin my life and the small TV's in the rooms are perfect for a hotel.

  Nice view from high floor. Room clean. Staff pretty good But: - weak ac. 29 degrees in the room when we checked in and it took hours to cool down to a comfortable level level - bath drain very slow

  Everything was excellent at the hotel. The view from the top roof is amazing. A special thanks to Mrs. Phuong for her availability, support, and kindness during my short stay.The location is very good. The only minor issue was the very loud music from nearby pubs until midnight. However, this did not affect my overall experience, as I always travel with noise-blocking accessories, and the hotel also provides them.

  We arrived in Hue after an overnight train journey and were delighted to get to this lovely hotel. We were fortunate to get an upgrade and had the most amazing room. All the staff were great, Phuong, Vy and Tram on the front desk were lovely and very helpful. The hotel is in a great position for bars shopping and sights. Loved it. Very good breakfast.

  Friendly run hotel. Around the party area so lots of restaurants and bars. Can be quite noisy at night but the weekdays the noise stops around midnight, weekends at 2am. They offer earplugs in the room. Beds are comfortable and awesome hot shower. Everywhere is walkable from this location. Imperial city a 25 minute walk or Grab bike 5 min for 15-25k.Lose to the park along the Perfume river, nice for evening or sunset walks. Mini mart right across the street.

  Great location for river and old town access on the commercial side. Good breakfast. Many good local restaurants very close buy and shops. Took a cyclo trip for two at night which was great to the old town. Booked through hotel reception to get best guide and price for 1 hour. Highly recommended.

  This is a very comfortable hotel. It has 13 floor plus a roof top bar/dining room but only two lifts. ||Our room had a double and a single bed. A good TV with access to YouTube. The fridge had two cans of beer at a very reasonable price. ||The bathroom has a picture window to the main room. It has a blind which partially obscures the view. ||The air conditioner was poor. At its lowest setting it barely maintained a comfortable temperature.
