  Some places you stay. And some places welcome you in. Timothy Homestay in Huế feels like the second. Every morning I roll out my yoga mat in the common space so Fredi doesn’t have to trip over me in the room. It has quietly become my little ritual as the house slowly wakes up. Guests wander through, someone pours a cup of coffee, someone else sits down to chat. Before long, strangers become travel companions. When we arrived after our long train ride, the host had snacks waiting for us. It was such a small gesture, but after a long day of travel it felt incredibly thoughtful. Breakfast here is simple and perfect. Fresh bánh mì, fruit, tea, and coffee to start the day. In the evenings, people gather naturally. We talk, share stories from the road, sip drinks, and snack together. It’s the kind of place where conversations stretch longer than expected. The hosts are wonderful. They help arrange trips, transportation, restaurant recommendations, and the best places to explore around Huế. They genuinely want you to experience the city. Our room is huge and comfortable, but the real magic of this place is the feeling of community. You arrive as a guest. And before long, it feels like you’re just living in the house for a few days.

  I had the most beautiful 3 nights at Timothy Homestay! I affirm the previous reviews- hosts were very kind and welcoming, always willing to help which was particularly comforting as a solo female traveler. The complimentary breakfast was an absolute bonus- they even gave me a different flavour each day! It’s the small things that really make a difference and I think this is what sets Timothy Homestay apart from the rest! 🙏

  I had an amazing stay at Timothy Homestay in Hue. Everything was perfect from the moment I arrived. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-prepared. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore the city. I truly felt welcomed and taken care of throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Hue, and I would love to come back again in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

  This is the BEST place I have ever stayed it. Price compared to the ASTONISHING service! Let’s start with that I booked it at 5:30 the same morning, and I got a response immediately, over WhatsApp. They were so kind, asking what time we arrived so they could prepare us some fruit, bread, cookies and tea. And wishing us a good trip, also checking in to see if we were still going strong. When we arrived we got pampered immediately. For only 50K we could upgrade to a better room, really nice room. Then I asked her what time we had to be back, she said there’s no curfew and we could come back whenever and text her. The next morning, we got downstairs and immediately recieved princess treatment and a delicious and filling breakfast. The house is so gorgeous and they are so so nice. We could store our bags there also. I would come back anytime she made me feel at home. Thank you.🥹🥹🥹❤️

  This place and especially the owners are incredible. They were the kindest hosts we encountered through our whole trip. We were welcomed with fresh fruit, tea and kind words. The place itself is like a little chateau and very clean. Breakfast (Banh Mi, fresh Mango & Orange, Tea and Coffee) was included, bicyles were free to take, motorbike only 150k a day, cheap laundry offered, cheap transfer from and to the airport. We even got cold beer offered two separate times and in the perfect moment Oh, and they organize trips for you as well if you want. Went on a day trip to Bách Ma National Park for a perfectly reasonable 30€ (lunch, water, english speaking guide and transfer included) and it was great. The owners (husband & wife) are really kind people. Can't go wrong with this place. It's a little on the outskirts, but that means it's also quiet and peaceful.

  Thank you again for everything. We had a great time staying here. The hosts are incredibly friendly and really helpful when we encountered some problems. The villa itself as well as the food is amazing. If possible we would give more than 5 stars. 100% recommend.

  So it started with timothy's father , welcoming us at 11 pm , asked us if we had dinner , he pre prepared for us fruits and tea to have for dinner which was amazing. A day later we had great breakfast , green tea ban mi with eggs and great coffee. The stay at the this homestay was outstanding, the kindness and respect timothy's father has for his guests is truly breathtaking. Fully recommend staying here , it's calm area, beds were great, had bikes to take to the city for free .

Fresh bánh mì, fruit, tea, and coffee.|In the evenings people naturally gather to talk, share stories, and have a drink together. Conversations stretch longer than expected.|The hosts are wonderful and happy to help arrange trips, transportation, restaurant recommendations, and the best places to explore in Huế.|Our room is huge and comfortable, but the real magic here is the sense of community.|You arrive as a guest.|Soon it feels like home.
