We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vedana! I would especially like to highlight the incredibly amazing staff – they truly made our stay unique and unforgettable. A very special thank you to Anh, as well as to the entire restaurant team, who welcomed us every day with a smile and kind words. The hotel grounds are simply paradise – beautifully designed and perfect for relaxing. We also loved that you can borrow bicycles for free to explore the surrounding area, and that you can easily get around the resort with convenient buggy pick-ups. And daily free shuttle to Hue!! The breakfast buffet was a daily highlight: a wide selection, everything fresh and delicious. The overall service is outstanding and leaves nothing to be desired. We also enjoyed the great massages – highly recommended! One personal moment that really stood out: I wasn’t feeling well one day, and Anh immediately took such kind and attentive care of me. Her support and warmth truly meant a lot to us. Our water villa was absolutely beautiful and made the experience even more special. The pool area is also fantastic – especially the pool where you can watch a stunning sunset. It’s simply unforgettable. We would come back anytime – a clear and heartfelt recommendation! 🤍 Thank you.

Such a magic 2 night's at the Vedana, Cam made us so welcome and explained about our package and all the facilities, My wife had been to Vedana the week before and was so happy on her return we booked up immediately. I did have high expectations which were met and beyond during our stay. The bungalow was spotless, extremely comfortable and huge with wonderful showers inside and out. We enjoyed the restaurant and in-house dining every service was delivered with a smile. Phoung, Ha,Nhi and all of the other staff members made us feel so relaxed ed and at home. Our biggest enjoyment was the spa, high quality treatments and the tai chi was mind blowing. Big shout out to Loi a wonderful tai chi tea her and best massage therapist ever. We are coming back to this amazing lagoon with luxurious facilities. 10 🌟 resort.

I CANNOT recommend Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa enough. We stayed here in March 2026 as the first stop on our seven-week Southeast Asia honeymoon, and it was one of our planned “splurge” stays. I’m posting this review in May; this place still stands out as one of the highlights of our trip, the value still feels incredible, and we absolutely loved our time here. We originally booked here because of its proximity to Bạch Mã National Park where we had hoped to do some hiking, and it worked really well as a base for visiting the park and the surrounding area. We stayed for five days and four nights and honestly could have stayed much longer. We flew into Da Nang (though Hue is the closer airport~1hr) and took a Grab from there, which was about 1 hour 30 minutes and cost around $45 USD. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The property is beautiful, the welcome felt warm and polished, and the service stayed consistently excellent throughout our stay. Shout out to Nhi, Cam, and her team—they were fantastic. We booked a water villa with a private pool, and it was even better than the photos. The villa, the pool, and the lagoon were truly dreamy. It felt peaceful, private, and so thoughtfully designed. The villa itself was incredibly comfortable. The bed was great, the AC worked perfectly, and the bathroom - with a separate bath and shower surrounded by plants, stone, and skylights - felt relaxing and spa-like. At night, the turn-down service with the candlelit essential oil diffuser made the whole space feel extra calm and cozy. They also left a bedtime story that we thought was a such a cute touch - we really enjoyed reading these parables/culturally idosyncratic stories each night. One of the best perks of our stay was the promotion included when booking through the hotel’s website: the “8-hour transportation service.” Each day, you get access to a private driver who can take you anywhere within range, as far north as Hue or south to Hoi A for 8 hours. We used it twice to explore Hue, where we had some amazing meals and spent time sightseeing around the city. The resort is very large, but getting around is easy. You can call for a buggy anytime or use the complimentary bikes, which we loved. Riding around the property by bike made the whole experience feel so charming. The pools are beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with amazing lagoon views. The breakfast buffet leans more toward Asian cuisine, which I really appreciated as I was ready to get my Asia trip started! Everything tasted fresh and high quality. Our favorites were the pho, congee, fresh juices (especially the beet juice), fresh fruit, the egg station, and the crepe station. We had one dinner at the resort that was good, though not especially memorable. Our favorite meals overall were in Hue. Drinks from the bar were good quality, and poolside service was prompt and friendly. The service here is honestly exceptional. Communication happens easily through WhatsApp, and the staff is incredibly responsive and proactive. One thing that really stood out: after bringing leftovers back from dinner, we asked the next day if there was a microwave we could use. Instead, staff came to our villa, took the food, reheated it, and brought it back to us. This happened more than once - including poolside with leftovers from outside the resort - and really sums up the level of attentiveness here. We also really enjoyed the on-site bird sanctuary. As people who enjoy birdwatching, this was such a fun surprise. Guests can buy seeds to feed the birds, and many of them are social and will actually land on you.

Remains our favourite chill place in Vietnam, as I write this we have just completed our 3rd stay here. I love how close it is to the airport, making a quick get away for a few days from Hanoi easily manageable. Staff: great communication and friendly Spa: Always amazing, so clean and welcoming and I adore the 30m complimentary head rub that came with our room. Pools: Main pool by the horizon bar is very chilled and never too busy. Every time we have gone past the twilight one it seemed much busier with swimmers and photo takers alike Breakfast: one of the best in VN, and we have got through a few in 4 years. Such fresh tasty selection of food. Although I would say please have chilled milk available, warm milk with cereal isn't pleasant Rooms: we have been fortunate enough to enjoy a hillside villa, water lagoon and hillside villa with pool, all were amazing. Lived the private pool in the villa, but then the sunrise from the water lagoon room was amazing. Grounds: the bikes are a great hit to cycle round the grounds either for exercise or simply to get from a to b. Be prepared to a massive amount of bike swapping and dont get too attached to one, chances are it will be swapped out by someone looking for a better one! Food: the restaurant here is perhaps the only thing that let's it down, its not so much the price, you expect to pay higher in a resort, but its not that tasty. The little food stalls outside the resort which it seems most of the resort wat at every night, are great, we love getting fresh grilled prawns and seafood from there every night. This resort is great for a few chill days. There is the option of a free shuttle bus from the resort to the city centre if you need a little more variety, but we chose it for the opposite, to enjoy the fab views and relax for a few days at a time

We have just had the most incredible holiday at Vedana Lagoon Resort. The whole trip was so relaxing from the moment we were collected from the airport to the moment we sadly left. Nothing was too much trouble for the super-attentive, wonderful staff. The resort itself is immaculate. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. We will be back!

Excellent hotel to spend a couple of quiet days relaxing at a great lagoon front location. We had a very busy trip to Vietnam in 2025 and for this return visit wanted a relaxing start after 24 hours of travelling. We received a room upgrade on arrival which was lovely and all the staff were very helpful. The resort is spread out and some rooms are up quite steep hills but electric buggys were always available and there were plenty of bikes to use. There was only one evening restaurant open during our late April visit but the food was very nice, with plenty of choice. Being roughly half way between Da Nang (90 mins) and Hue (60 mins), we would recommend the hotel if traveling through central Vietnam.

The exact what we needed on our trip. It was so relaxing. The spa was amazing and the treatments and staff were 10/10.The the breakfast was amazing, both continental and Asian. the bar meals and evening meals very tasty too. A small menu though. Staff were 10/10 and very attentive. Could not do enough. The pool looked great, shame the sun didn’t shine until the day we left. The bikes were fun and the golf carts were a great idea for modes of transport. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at Vedana Lagoon for a family retreat and overall had a pleasant experience. We chose this resort mainly because of its beautiful and peaceful location, and it definitely delivered on that aspect. The huge lagoon surrounded by lush greenery creates a very relaxing atmosphere, and the scenery throughout the property is truly fantastic.||One of the highlights of our stay was the bike rides with the family in the early mornings and late evenings. The calm environment and fresh air made it especially enjoyable and memorable.||For the price range, the stay was decent and comfortable. The food was average and could be improved, and while the staff were generally helpful, a warmer and more engaging level of hospitality would have made the experience even better.||That said, we would still recommend Vedana Lagoon to nature lovers and families looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, as long as expectations for the food and five-star service experience are kept moderate.
