  A truly hidden (!) gem. This is one of the must surprising, yet magical locations we‘ve seen in Vietnam. It‘s a backyard garden of a victorian style villa. My wife and my two kids loved it. Food was fantastic and not expensive. Perfect for everyone who‘s staying at the Kobi Onsen Resort.

  Incredibly peaceful vegetarian/vegan garden refuge in the middle of Hue. The moment u walk in, you are greeted by hanging orchids, beautiful paintings, statue-adorned zen garden pathways, accompanied by the relaxing sound of water, leaves rustling, and birds singing along with cicadas. It's literally another world. The staff was honest, polite & knowledgeable, so much that my aunt wanted to adopt one of them. Although they are mostly vegan, some dishes may have milk, so make sure you ask the staff first. We were told everything on the menu can be made vegan. If you let them know first, they will not add dairy. The food was amazing, well-presented & full of flavor even tho they emphasize the health aspect of food. Everything was freshly prepared with minimal processing. If u happen to stop by Hue, pls visit An Nhien Garden to rest and enjoy incredible food.

  I wish I had found this place on my last trip, but was super stoked to have found it on this trip to Hue. The restaurant is set up in a garden with tables set up around it as well. We started off sitting in the garden but there were some mosquitos so we moved away from the lush garden setting. Probably something that's hard to get away from as the weather warms up. We ordered several platters with many things to try. One of my favorites was from "Hue on a Tray" where three different "banh" were offered. The black sesame item was exceptional both in taste and texture. We also ordered the "Traditional Hue Meal" which included rice, veggies, tofu, soup, and a very unique pickled eggplant dish. The Pomelo Salad was also very tasty. I suggest making a reservation as the restaurant, though not full, was rather busy on a weeknight.

  This is an incredible vegeterain place to eat. Caters for vegans and halal. Its the venue that makes the amazing food taste even better. The service is top notch. The meals in the pictures look smaller than they are, you might over-order.

  I arrived at An Nhien Vegetarian Restaurant expecting a nourishing vegetarian meal, but I left having experienced something far rarer, a sense of quiet reverence, nourishment, and genuine inner calm. Set within soothing natural surrounds, An Nhien feels less like a restaurant and more like a sanctuary. The atmosphere is deeply peaceful, gently restorative, and thoughtfully restrained. Time seems to soften here. It is impossible not to slow your breathing, your thoughts, and your expectations of what a meal can be. The history alone is extraordinary. The site traces its lineage back to 1588, spanning 22 generations of caretakers. To hear this story was profoundly moving and it was made all the more special by meeting Nhien herself, a descendant of the original custodians. The name carries beautiful intention. Nhien means nature, An means peace, and together An Nhien speaks to inner peace. This is not branding, it is philosophy, lived and felt. The food is exceptional. Each dish is fresh, nutritious, and clearly prepared with deep care and respect, both for the ingredients and for the people who will receive them. Flavours are clean yet complex, presentation is elegant without excess, and everything feels intentionally balanced. What stayed with me most was the sense of generosity. Not only in the food, but in the calm hospitality, and the feeling that this place exists to offer something meaningful rather than merely impressive. Thank you for such an enriching experience. I wholeheartedly recommend that all visitors to Huế, whether vegetarian or not, make time to visit this remarkable and tranquil slice of heaven. Cảm ơn bạn rất nhiều 🙏

  Amazing quality food and the location was beautiful, felt very calming to be out of the usual busyness around Hué. Our server was very caring and provided great service with quality and attentiveness. My lotus rice was so incredible, bao buns were 10/10. It is a but pricier compared to local cuisine but still very worth the money.

  Wow! An unexpected experience. Really delicious vegetarian food mostly Hue traditional dishes with some international favours. Set in a beautiful ground of a private home and garden. Thoroughly enjoyed all our food choices. Very friendly and attentive service in an upscale restaurant setting. Highly recommended.
