We absolutely loved this restaurant!! We ended up coming back three times in just two days because the food was so delicious and the atmosphere so welcoming. They made us feel genuinely at home from the moment we arrived — it felt very warm and family-like. The dishes were incredibly tasty and the prices were more than fair, which made the experience even better. If we hadn’t been leaving the city, we definitely would have come back again. We can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a truly friendly atmosphere!

Family Home Café & Restaurant was one of those happy discoveries in Hue that turned into a genuine favourite. We ended up eating here several times during our stay, which really says it all. When a place pulls you back that consistently, it's doing something right. The pho is wonderful — comforting, well-balanced, and exactly what you want after a day of exploring. But what surprised us was the shakshuka. Rich, flavourful, and totally unexpected on a Vietnamese café menu — it works brilliantly and we'd order it every time. Pair either with a cold beer in that cozy, relaxed setting and you've got yourself a near-perfect meal. The atmosphere is warm and unpretentious, the kind of place that feels lived-in and welcoming rather than curated for tourists. It's easy to linger here, and we did — often. The staff play a big part in that. They're genuinely lovely, attentive without being intrusive, and add to the overall feeling that this is a place run with real care. If you're spending time in Hue, put Family Home on your list early — that way you'll have plenty of chances to go back. Five stars without hesitation.

I love Family Home Restaurant! Everytime I visit, I feel warmly welcomed, as if I'm part of the family. The ladies treat me with genuine kindness and care, making each experience special. And of course, the food is consistently delicious, every dish was a delight. I recommend anything on menu! My favorite dishes are the Hue noodles with Fried Pork + Veg + Spring Rolls, Noodle Soup, or Báhn Mì. Also the smoothies are yummy too! This is my go-to place for comfort, good vibes, and great food! -Miss Angie

Love this place! I've come back 4 times now. Their food is so tasty and has great flavour. The Shakshuka was awesome with a massive bread roll, the mixed omlette, Vietnamese rice pancake and the Chicken Pho are incredible- one of my favourite Pho in Vietnam so far. So flavoursome! The owners are the sweetest ladies and are always happy to see you ☺️. They even thanked me for coming back and gifted me a plate of mango to say farewell on my last visit 🥹. They really appreciate you supporting their restaurant. Such a great place with the best people who now feel like family. Love the dining area at the top, very open and natural 😍.

We went for dinner here one evening. I got the fried noodles with chicken and vegetables and the veg and tofu spring rolls. It was all very simple and very tasty.

We found this place by accident and saw that they had shakshuka - our favorite breakfast dish. We loved the place so much that we came back the next day. It’s a really cute family business run out of their home. Very nice rooftop seating with good ambience and friendly service. The food is fantastic. We tried shakshuka, banh mi chao, and a few other Vietnamese dishes. Everything was fresh and flavourful. The coffee and tea were also excellent. If we lived in Hue, we would probably come here every weekend. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful small and hidden family restaurant managed by a lovely lady. The best noodle soup I ate in Vietnam. The atmosphere was very peaceful and reserved in a small alley quite interesting to observe over dinner for a tourist like myself. Rather low prices expecially for the amazing qualità of the food, cooked with love and served with the specific sides paired to them. I'd say that the great vietnamese cuisine is well represented here. A true jewel of Hué!
