  It looks like pre lunchtime on a Sunday is the sweet spot for dining at Maison Trang, we were the only patrons during our visit. With all the reviews we’ve read, we actually thought that it would be packed. As for the food, it was pleasant as it should be. Having our fill of the Hue specialty set the previous day, we opted for their more a la carte offerings - Bun Bo Hue and the Pork with Rice and Fried Egg. We devoured both of them with gusto as they were nice and had a very homely taste to it. The Bun Bo Hue is as it should be, nice, savory but light and amazingly comforting. The Pork with Fried Egg was a treat and came with so many side dishes. Everything was enjoyable. They’re probably most known for their sets but their a la carte dishes are worth giving a try. Lovely ladies managing the store and were very welcoming.

  A great Vietnamese food resturant hidden down an alley. Very much worth a visit, food was great and staff where excellent. Atmosphere of the area was great; but the resturant interior was very brightly lit which kind of spoiled the atmosphere. Still, can't recommend this place enough and it is very high value for the price in the menu.

  Located a little ways down an alley, this restaurant has a quiet, calm atmosphere. I stayed in Hue for three nights, and the food was so delicious that I ended up visiting twice in a row. Every dish was delicious and had such a gentle flavor that I ended up ordering a lot. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, and gave me detailed instructions on how to eat the food. If I ever come to Hue again, I'll definitely visit this restaurant.

  Maison Trang in Huế was a great experience! We ordered the veggie platter and the pork noodle dish, and both were absolutely wonderful. We’ll definitely be going back. The service was exceptional, each dish was introduced to us and explained, including the traditional way to eat it, which really elevated the whole experience. It truly felt like a 5-star dining experience. Thank you!

  Overall a very decent experience at Maison Trang. Service was excellent, staff taught us how to roll the rice rolls. Was excited to try bun bo hue but unfortunately soup was lukewarm and taste was nothing to shout about. That being said, the lemongrass chicken rice rolls were nice, and the banana ice cream dessert was really phenomenal.

  Super friendly staff and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. If, like me, you’re not sure what to order, just go for the tasting menu. They have different options and I think it’s totally worth it. The only thing I didn’t like was my drink. I ordered an orange juice and they just squeezed 2 small oranges and added lots of ice.

  I love this place. The vegetarian spring rolls were genuinely the best spring rolls I have ever had. And then I was on my way out, having paid already, when I saw someone having the frozen banana dessert. I turned back around and ordered it, and I'm so happy I did. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly, the place is bright and full of life, the music is lovely. Don't miss it!!

  My partner and I came here as we saw it had a pretty big selection of vegetarian dishes. However, the dishes we ordered were pretty bland. We went for the banh khoai and fried rice, both lacking any real flavour. The vegetarian options are simply the meat equivalent dish but without the meat. We also order the vegetarian spring rolls and that was delicious!
