  The food here is so delicious and fresh, I ended up having dinner here twice during my time in Hue. The staff are so welcoming to foreigners, and their willingness to speak English is awesome. Big thanks to Hoa and Nhi for taking such good care of me during my dinners. You guys are amazing!

  If you are looking for the absolute best food in Vietnam, look no further than Nina’s Cafe. We came in for a late brunch that effortlessly turned into a long, delicious lunch—and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. After three weeks of traveling through the country, this was hands-down the best food and selection we’ve encountered. ​The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and cozy, providing the perfect escape from the bustle of the city. However, what truly elevates this experience from a great meal to an unforgettable one is the hospitality. Our host, Ms. Lotus, was perfection. Her English is impeccable, and she is so much more than just a host; she is a cultural ambassador. She took the time to sit with us and educate us on the traditional way to prepare and eat each dish, adding a layer of depth to the meal that you just don't find elsewhere. ​We will be back again for sure. If you’re in Hue, do yourself a favor and find this hidden gem!

  Finding Nina’s Cafe at the end of a long, quiet alleyway is half the fun—the other half is the incredible food and hospitality. This small, cozy spot is a peaceful escape from the main streets. ​The Service: Huge shoutout to Lotus, who was a total powerhouse. She was the only server managing the entire restaurant single-handedly, yet she stayed welcoming, spoke excellent English, and took a genuine interest in our trip. Her recommendations were spot-on. ​The Standout Dishes: ​The BBQ Pork Noodles (Bun Thit Nuong): The pork had a fantastic flavor that reminded me of Filipino tocino, and the peanut sauce was the perfect finishing touch. ​Set 1: An absolute steal for the price. The Banh Beo was incredibly fresh, and the Banh Nam was a delicious highlight I’m glad we tried. ​Fried Fish: Light, crispy, and perfectly battered. It let the quality of the fish shine through instead of overpowering it. ​Grilled Lemon Chicken: This was "booming" with flavor—a massive hit with my son. ​If you want an authentic, quiet meal with top-tier service, make sure you find your way down the alley to this gem.

  Extremely positive experience here, good vibes service, amazing food everything we have ordered (and we’re very picky). Highly recommend their specialties; we had banana leaf sticky rice and tomato pork balls - both excellent. The grilled fish was actually fried but was good overall. Need some help of a lime spice. Banana sticky coconut cake with ice cream was very special, a bit rough, more experimental imo, can be more refined. Atmosphere and pricing are great, Lotus the waitress was adorable and helpful, we highly recommend this place.

  Located in a back alley. Delicious food and nice atmosphere. Came back a second time as the food was so good and the menu is so wide that we wanted to try more. :) In total Had three visits and tried so much from the menu. Everything was so flavorful and we do Not regret coming Here so often. Everyone will be able to find Something on this Menu.

  Nina’s café is a true gem, tucked away in a narrow street in central Hué. Do not hesitate to visit. The place feels fresh and welcoming, creating a lovely atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Moon and N were extremely friendly and helped us choose our dishes with great care. They also speak excellent English, which is not always the case in many restaurants and cafés in Hué. The food itself was delicious, beautifully presented, and very reasonably priced. The drinks were equally impressive, with great attention to detail in their presentation. Highly recommended ☺️

  This is a real gem of a restaurant. We got great service from Moon. She speaks perfect English and is able to explain all the dishes. We had the chicken curry w/rice and the Bun Bo Hue. Each dish was excellent and well prepared. We also had the vanilla and coconut ice cream for dessert. Would recommend.

  Nina’s Cafe in Huế is a true hidden gem for anyone looking to experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is fresh, full of flavor, and clearly home-style rather than typical tourist fare. A special mention goes to the waitresses Hoa and Lyn, who are incredibly friendly and attentive, really taking care of you and making you feel right at home. Excellent value for money and a genuinely authentic experience. Definitely worth a visit when in Huế.
