  We only had one night in Hue and wanted to try some of the local food. We picked this spot because of its excellent reviews and it did not disappoint! The food was 10/10. We ordered the lotus salad and crispy pork springs rolls and then the beef noodle soup and beef noodles for mains. Galvin our waiter was brilliant. He was very attentive and made our night very special!

  Vi Hue was one of the highlights of our trip to Hue! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the elegant atmosphere, spotless dining room, and warm hospitality. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. The beef noodle soup and spring rolls were among the best we’ve had in Vietnam, and the cocktails were exceptional. We happened to be celebrating my husband’s 75th birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. They surprised him with a delicious birthday cake and sang “Happy Birthday” in English, which was such a thoughtful touch. Then, to top it all off, the owner brought out a bottle from his personal whiskey collection and treated our table to a celebratory shot! The service was genuine, friendly, and memorable. If I could give Vi Hue 75 stars in honor of my husband’s birthday, I would. This restaurant delivers outstanding food, amazing cocktails, and hospitality that you simply won’t forget. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Hue!

  This is what fine dining should be in Vietnam. Best duck ever! Chicken sauce is a bit spicy but delicious. Drinks are perfect and coffee is an experience. Staff is wonderful and happy to help. Overall great experience. Thanks for this nice evening. A bit pricy but worth it.

  This was an exceptional experience. The food was great. The waitor Darwin was a lovely man that treated us well. Mong is the nicest and most beautiful woman and was really kind to us. The food was great and they went above and beyond. An definately must see and Hue. The restaurant looks great and even the bathrooms were the cleanest i have seen in Vietnam . They are really lovely people. I will visit them again no doubt.

  I came here with great expectations cuz of the reviews and was left feeling a bit disappointed. Appetisers and drink were great! The pork balls and lotus salad were delicious. Pork jowl and chicken that had the recommended symbol in the menu were just so so. The glutinous rice that came with both were abit hard and bland. Pork jowl tasted quite nice on its own. Cocktail was good! Love their ginger tea as well.

  I don't get where all these overwhelmingly positive reviews came from. Place is clean and pretty, but food is very very average. Taco Ban Xeo - cold, steam vegetables cold, clay pot chicken almost bland, fish soup pretty good. If you expect great food - find other place nearby. If you expect to sit and chill, it's pretty and drinks are good. For price above average food is below average. Honestly - don't recommend, not a restaurant level. Service was good, but waiter asked to take our unfinished food, why?
