  Had a great staying experience in my 2 nights here. The rooms are really spatious, and there was a balcony if that interests you. Though, we barely used it since we were running in and out of the rooms to explore Hue. The air conditioning may not be that cold, but there is a fan! Which really helps to beat the heat. While the location is fantastic (near walking street and the pubs), traffic noises are inevitable... so be sure to have some earplugs for light sleepers. The owner is super nice and goes above and beyond to provide comfort while we stayed here.

  Our stay at House of Ly was incredible, our best stay in whole Vietnam (and one of the best in all SEA) despite being the cheapest. Central location, close to many restaurants and cafes, yet super quiet at night. Spacious and incredibly clean room, change of towels every day, bedding smelling really nice. Mrs. Ly herself was so sweet and kind, she gave us fruit when we came back from a run and for our departure. We 100% recommend and will be back when in Hue next. Thank you Mrs Ly!

  The stay was amazing. The hostess was super helpful: she handled the transportation and laundry options for us (at very reasonable price), and is just friendly in general. One of us had a fever during the stay, so she offered some medicine as well. The room was clean, well supplied, with free waters and spacious closets. The location is walking distance from a lively nightlife area and close to a lot of city attractions. Would 100% recommend

  I accidentally booked my stay here in the wrong month, but uh didn’t realize it until I tried to check in. Ms. Ly was completely booked for the night, instead she put me up in a hotel and then book me for the next four nights. The room was very nice. She was great!

  Stayed here 3 nights recently. Our stay was very nice and in a perfect location. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Quick grab ride over to the palace. Rooms were clean with nice hot water and it was quiet. The owner was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the 1 1/2 there pretty much was no WiFi. I did let the owners son know about it. However it was never fixed..

  The most pleasant stay in whole Vietnam. The single place I didn’t feel pushed to use extra services, book a tour and so on. Very humble and friendly lady running sparkingly clean place. Huge and beautiful room with balcony. Located very conveniently to reach restaurants and good coffee places. That’s true the owner lady doesn’t speak any English but she’s sharp to understand stuffs you translate for her using google translate. And that was well enough for needs of any traveler. Recommend very much!

  The host is excellent, she is very accommodating and always trying to help with food recommendations, bike rentals and making sure your stay is comfortable. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfy, the location of the property is good as it’s tucked away from the noise but only a short walk to the restaurants and bars.

  Lovely calm and comfortable stay, the room was basic but immaculately clean with a lovely big comfy bed, air con and a fan, great shower in the bathroom/wet room, there was a very very small balcony but it was so nice to have a little private outside space. Our host was a lovely lady who did not speak any English but used Google translate which worked very well, she was able to give us directions and recommendations, she also did our laundry. The homestay is in a small alley about one street back from walking street but it’s incredibly quiet! Would definitely stay again if in Hue.
