Booked a night but stayed more than a week. Great budget stay that still includes a variety of breakfast items and unlimited black coffee/tea in the morning/afternoon. Good wifi on each floor, hot water (but you won't need it in the hot city of hue), great ac, soft beds with privacy curtains, locker space, killer roof top views with space for reading, exercise, etc. Shower gel/shampoo is provided. Staff are a kind family and speak English. They're happy to help with tours, buses, etc. New bedsheets & towels can also be readily received. In a quieter part of town that is still walkable to the imperial plaza. Surrounded by good local food joints, including close walk to public market, Hen island, etc. Can rent bicycle or motorbike here for getting further out in town.

I had a really good stay for 2 nights here in a 4 bed dorm. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The staff is really friendly, speaks english fluently and also helped me to book a bus to my next destination with hostel pick up. The breakfast was really good as well with a lot of options.

The thing I liked the most in Huế was the people from this village, especially the hostel staff. They were always willing to help, extremely friendly, and even offered me breakfast. Booking tours through them is totally worth it. I highly recommend this place, and when I come back, I will definitely stay at this hostel again.

I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hostel in Hue. Hue itself is a city you instantly feel like staying longer in — I initially booked for 3 nights and ended up extending for another 3. If I could, I’d happily stay here for a month. The price is very reasonable considering the level of hospitality they offer. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and there’s a nice rooftop to relax on. The breakfast is delicious — it’s rare to find a free breakfast menu with more than 10 options, along with coffee and tea. The hosts are incredibly kind and friendly. There was no option to change my dates in the booking system, so I messaged them directly and they adjusted everything without any hesitation. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place if you’re planning to visit Hue. Thank you to the lovely hosts for such warm hospitality!

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay this is not a bad option. The tv helped it stand out, for the price point that is rare while we have been traveling. But I was very disappointed with the transportation booking we did through the front desk. She advertised a bus as our transportation and we were placed into a hot van with minimal AC. As a person who gets car sick very easily and avoids vans this was a very hard and frustrating trip. Along with this the driver whips around like he’s racing F1, not helping my cause. Please check with the front desk if you are booking transportation and confirm which kind you are getting. Additionally, in the room there was water damage on the walls that was causing mold to grow. We were also disappointed with the location, but understand for cheap prices this is what you get. Unfortunately we found hue to be a poor walking city in general, and to get to everything you had to walk across a bridge under construction without great walking lanes. We found this in other areas of the city as well, and would not that the tourist attractions are just generally not in a consolidated location unfortunately.

I booked the deluxe room because it specified windows with city view. But my room's windows faced a busy and loud balcony where people would sit and talk on the phone. And that balcony's view was completely covered by a large tarp (see photo). So it was loud, plus I had no view of the outside. I had to either keep the curtains closed or open them and have everyone looking into my room. I asked to move to a different room, and after two nights they moved me to a room with external windows and balcony, but a smaller bed and a broken TV. Both beds were comfortable and AC worked fine. Included breakfast was nice. But the first two days they got my order wrong, and the last day they completely forgot about my order, I had to chase after them to get the breakfast. Might have just been bad luck. They were very apologetic. Location is further away than it looks on the map. The nearby bridge is under construction, so you have to walk 10 min along the canal to the farther bridge. Unfortunately it rained constantly during my stay, and all the roads to the hotel flood. So to get anywhere I had to walk through the flooded road. There's a few restaurants on that side of the river, but only serving mussels; so if you want non-mussels you need to walk to the city center. Overall, I would not stay again. Staff were very friendly though; spoke English and a little bit of German and French. (Their friendliness is probably why the rating is so high.) If staying in a dorm or you don't care about windows in a private room, it's a good option except for the location.

I stayed in a 4 bed dorm over two nights which presented well and was of great value. To me what really makes this place is the people. Tam, Phung and Stream in particular treated me with such care, treating me to their staff/family lunch, giving me lifts into town and generally making sure I was taken care of, always with a joyous attitude. The Rooftop area was also an added bonus, giving a cosy space to relax and watch the November rains fall on the city. I highly recommend staying here so that you too can experience the love and care I was shown.
