Quiet and cozy homestay right next to the Imperial. Friendly host will do the best to accommodate you. Laundry service and grocery stores are just 2 houses away. Definitely worthy for a local experience.

It felt like home 🫶 The couple is very charming, smiley, kind and always attentive to make us feel comfortable: breakfast, scooter rental, restaurant idea etc. The house is very clean and authentic: Vietnamese style with a beautiful garden! Very grateful for how they have treated us and recommand them at 100%😊

It's a beautiful house in a great area for exploring the Hue Imperial City. The room we stayed in was large with a nice attached private bathroom. The air conditioner worked great to cut down on the high temperatures. The hosts were very friendly and helpful during our stay. They offered motorbike and bicycle rentals, which we declined. We had free use of the kitchen and common areas.

One of the best homestays I have experienced in Vietnam! The owner is very friendly and we had a great time chatting with the help of Google translate. I was sick during my stay and she was so helpful with whatever I needed, and even had some local medicine she shared that made me feel heaps better. Very grateful to have had such a nice stay despite the circumstances.

This is an authentic Vietnamese house, lovingly maintained by an elderly couple. The house is spacious and beautifully aesthetic, and it's within walking distance of the Imperial Citadel. We can't say enough about our hosts—they truly represented the culture and traditions of their country. They were incredibly sweet, cooking us a full-course meal and breakfast. The vegetable Pho she made was the best I've had in Vietnam!

Okay full disclosure I didn’t actually stay here… I am giving them a rating anyway because there was a booking dot com issue which meant I reserved a room when there weren’t actually any left. We arrived, they explained and let us stay while giving us water and a small snack. Grabs kept cancelling and so they let us inside the gate again and wait for one to come. Extremely lovely lovely people, and they have the cutest cat ever. Would have absolutely loved to spend our short time in Hue here.

So the service is brilliant and the room is nice (especially for the price). you need to know that the bathroom is not adjacent to your room, so you have to walk through the common area to your bathroom which can be a bit inconvenient. the common area is exceptionally nice, with old wooden chairs and tables. they do have hot water but it starts coming out lukewarm after ~4 min of using it (so if you have to wash long hair, the tail end of your shower might be a bit cold, at least for my room).

This place is a misunderstanding. On Booking.com and Google Maps, you get to see pictures of a lovely traditional house with a garden which makes you think you will get a taste of it. But this is a grave mistake: your room will be barren walls and the floor, not even with a closet or table to place your clothes etc. on , when you get them out of your bag. You will have to put them on the bed (day time) and back into the bag (night time), or on the floor (on which I found longer dsrk hair, definitely not mine). The contrast between what they make you believe through photos and what you get is stark. The hosts appear to be very friendly. However, whatever you do, they will be closely watching you all the time: you feel like an intruder, or a poor student who rented a tiny room in an old inquistive woman's lavish mansion. You enjoy no privacy whatsoever. I chose this place because of a washing machine and a tumble drier mentioned in the description of the accommodation (after days of travelling, you want wash clothes). The tumble drier is non-existent, and the washing machine difficult to use: the suggestion was that you use it during the day only, not in the evening: of course every visitor to Hue washes clothes during the day and visits the citadel after the dark 🤦 This seems apparently to be a reasoning behing the rule. In the end, I was allowed to use the washing machine, but the situation was very upsetting. The location is very nice though: within the citadel's walls in a quiet area.
