This was a fantastic day out, cycling around the villages and interacting with locals, all with our fantastic guide Son! Thank you so much!

I loved, loved, loved our Food Tour by Cyclo with our guide Bob and our two absolutely wonderful Cyclo drivers. The food was great, Bob was awesome and very helpful and our Cyclo drivers were incredibly friendly, kind and you could tell they cared about our comfort and safety. If we stayed longer in Hue, I would have booked more tours via Slow Travel. Will certainly do so again in the future. What a wonderful experience and a huge highlight! Thank you so much! 😊

Wonderful trip. Nhi took us into some lovely peoples homes who were interesting and happy to talk to us. Their temples, gardens and food have been just perfect. Such nice people.

My husband and I went on the evening foodie cyclo tour with "Slow travel", in Hue last night. It was really delightful to be driven gently around the city streets with all the vibrant lights, sights, sounds and smells. Our guide took us to three establishments to try delicious authentic Vietnamese food. We began with Buddhist style, vegetarian starters in a traditional, family run Teak house, followed by main courses in a restaurant typically frequented by the locals, serving Vietnamese food (this time including meat). We finished our tour at a well loved coffee bar called "De Po", which had a more modern Vietnamese shabby chic, post war industrial vibe going on. It was a lovely experience and our charming guide was very friendly and informative. I thoroughly recommend this experience.

Local village tour, met some local family and saw every day life including village blacksmith. then boat trip across the river and after bicycle ride learnt ancient Vietnamese craft of paper flower making. People were very friendly and had best Banh Mi from a roadside stand waiting for the boat. Our guide Sang Ngo spoke English very well and gave us great background to the areas we visited . Highly recommended to see village life in Vietnam

Thanh made our food tour truly memorable. Along the way, she shared thoughtful historical context and insights into Buddhism, tying them naturally to the dishes we were tasting. She also went a step further, explaining recipes and cooking techniques, which added real depth to the experience. It felt personal, relaxed, and genuinely informative. Highly recommended.

Had a fabulous day with my guide, Son, at the royal mausoleum of Emperor Gia Lon, in the serene countryside just outside of Hue. We biked along the Perfume river and learned about medicinal herbs from a local farmer. A spectacular lunch was had in the farmer’s house where his line of handmade herbal goods were on display. Son was incredibly informative and entertaining while explaining the nature, culture, history, and architecture of this beautiful place. Toured with Charlie to an ancient fishing village at Tam Giang lagoon, just outside of Hue. We went to a local market with fresh meat and produce and he answered all of my questions about the various items. On the boat I learned about ancient fishing culture and techniques. A sampling of the catch of the day, and other local delights, were deliciously prepared for lunch at a local fisherman’s house. Charlie was incredibly informative and charismatic.

We had a very nice full day tour with Anh. Ahn is very knowledgefull and can discuss everything from world history, over modern vietnamese politics and food culture. Our family favorite was the meal in the fisher village and the evening food tour where we had a nice vegetarian meal, crispy ricepaper pancakes and a bunch of different sweet dishes at the sweet market.
