We came into town without any reservations and checked out a few hotels along the way. We chose this one because they offered accommodations for our driver. The first hotel acted like it belonged in Ho Chi Minh City instead of My Tho, and the second didn’t have the room type we needed. The young man at the front desk here was exceptionally helpful. The room is basic but in a great location, and the price was very reasonable for a last-minute booking. Breakfast was a small buffet, big flavor. Everything was so neatly organized it felt borderline Type A—my kind of breakfast. Super convenient before catching the ferry, and all the touristy fun is just a short splash across the water. And honestly, this hotel may not scream luxury, but the location, service, and price absolutely deliver if your plan is to sleep, recharge, and spend your day exploring everything nearby.

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful to me. The guard in the garage was very kind. My room was very clean. I had a window that overlooked in the city behind. It was quiet. I enjoyed the breakfast. Walked to the fresh market, and along the river. I noticed they have solar power, which I appreciate. Thank you for your welcome.

I had a wonderful stay here at the Khách sạn Lạc Hồng Hotel in Mỹ Tho. The hotel impressed me from the start with its exceptional cleanliness, something many guests consistently highlight. My room was spotless, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view over the river, which made the stay feel peaceful and refreshing. The staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to help with anything I needed, another point that many reviewers also praise, is the Breakfast which was varied and tasty, with a good selection of Asian dishes and fresh options to start the day well. The location is excellent, close to the riverfront and convenient for exploring Mỹ Tho and the Mekong Delta. I also really appreciated the covered, guarded parking area, which made arriving by motorbike completely stress‑free. Overall, this hotel delivered comfort, cleanliness, great service, and value, it has everything I wanted for a comfortable stay here in Mỹ Tho, and I would absolutely come back again.

This hotel has a beautiful location right on the My Tho riverbank, opposite the riverside park and near the tourist boat dock. The hotel has a spacious and beautiful lobby. The reception and housekeeping staff are friendly. The rooms are quite spacious and clean, although there is a slight odor (from the drainage system). Some rooms have river views. Breakfast provided. Limited space for car parking but you can park along the street. Reasonable price. Rooms are not sound-proof

New hotel in My Tho. Boggles the mind that Tet pricing for hotels in this city approach 5* pricing in Ho Chi Minh City. Design is very basic. Bathroom has no partition or tub, one drain, located below the sink, meaning that the whole floor gets wet and slippery if you take a shower. Reception was hesitant to give a second key for the room, expecting you to power down when leaving the hotel, instead of keeping your devices powered. In order to get to your room, you need to use a separate lift card, which is equally baffling. No outlet in the bathroom so you’ll have to blow dry your hair at the mirror on the desk. Otherwise everything else is fairly new, lighting is a little bit harsh, using very cold, LED lights for the room. Overall, nobody really thought about the hospitality aspect of the hotel, just a place to sleep at night, get ready and go out. I would probably say that the hoteliers are vastly inexperienced and cut a lot of corners when setting up. Would I come back? Probably not unless there wasn’t an alternative. Price vs. value doesn’t add up. Rooms should be 100k-200k per night max.

I stayed at the Lac Hong Hotel in January, 2024 while bike touring Vietnam. - Room was very small for a deluxe double room. - Hotel had elevator - Kettle in room. - No restaurant, but went to 5 star hotel next door for dinner eery night.
