  Tamatabi 20240205 I am traveler by bicycle. I like to stay cheap Hotel. But the room must be clean. I have paid 300K for twin bed room. It is very old Hotel. But this Hotel is most cheap at here. We can watch river view from third trace. It is nice. Have a nice trip.

  Such a disappointing experience. The cleanliness of the room was appalling and the service and amenities were poor. I would not even give them one star, but for the sake of a review it is mandatory. Stay far away from this hotel

  The room with a city view actually looked out onto a roof full of rubbish, for a small extra charge we could have had a room with a river view. The "hotel" is run down, the plaster is falling off, the walls are mouldy. The bathtub in the bathroom is boarded up, we couldn't figure out how to use it. The last straw was a rat running around in front of the reception. Although we had paid for the three nights in advance, we preferred to look for other accommodation. Everyone should stay far away.

  The room wasn't at all what we paid/booked for. We entered the room and it was smelly. The towels, bedsheets, pillow, everything was smelling bad. It appeared as if they were sprayed with perfume or something. The toilet wasn't clean either - smelly, unclean, yellow, broken walls. Refrigerator wasn't plugged in. The outlets don't work.

  The hotel is closed. There's dust all around. The price near the door hasn't been opened for us for 30 minutes. Cheating. The building doesn't look like a residential building. A Living Nightmare – Avoid at All Costs! ​Rating: 0/5 (If I could) ​This was, without a doubt, the most disgusting and traumatic hotel experience of my life. ​The Arrival & Communication: We booked while on the road, but despite sending multiple messages over 1.5 hours, the staff didn't bother to read or reply to a single one. We arrived at 4:00 AM (the scheduled check-in time) to find the doors locked and all the lights off. There was no one to meet us, even though the listing claimed a reception desk. We finally had to track someone down in a neighboring building. No "hello," no "sorry"—nothing. ​The Room from Hell: We requested a double bed; instead, we were given two single beds pushed together. But they weren't even beds—they were rotten, decaying wooden pallets propped up over piles of trash and filth that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a decade. Under the bed, there were literally dirty chemical canisters. ​Hygiene & Bedding: They didn't even provide bed sheets or pillowcases. We were forced to sleep on a mattress protector and cover ourselves with another one. For two people, they provided only two towels: one for the body and one for the feet. We had to share a single body towel. The curtains were stiff with salt and dust. The floor was so filthy I was afraid to take off my shoes for fear of catching an infection. ​Condition of the Room: The place is falling apart and should be condemned: ​The Bathroom: The toilet was stained yellow, mirrors were peeling and cloudy, and every metal fixture was covered in rust. There was no soap—just two disposable toothbrushes. ​Structural Damage: There were holes in the walls the size of a boot, with insects crawling out of them. Exposed bolts and wires were sticking out of the walls. ​Mold & Smell: The AC reeked of ancient dust. There was visible black mold and fungus in the corners, on the ceilings, and in the tile joints of the bedroom and bathroom. The wallpaper and cheap contact paper were peeling off due to the dampness. ​The View: Through the cloudy, grime-covered windows, the "view" was a terrace filled with trash that looked like a local dumping ground for the entire neighborhood. ​Conclusion: This isn't a hotel; it’s a dilapidated den that is structurally unsafe. The only reason we stayed was that I was exhausted from a long night of driving and had no other choice at 4 AM. The happiest moment of this trip was the second we checked out of this nightmare. ​Do yourself a favor: sleep in your car rather than staying here.

  Worst hotel experience of my life. To be avoided, nauseating smells in the room as well as in the bathroom, traces and smell of mould, stained sheets just like the curtains... I didn't even try to sleep in them, I'll be happy not to have caught scabies there, no toilet paper in the rooms, the cleaning is hardly done or not done at all. It's not a question of quality but of cleanliness. The kindness of the receptionist doesn't excuse the state of the rooms. Stay away, that's my advice. The photos speak for themselves

  Very dirty rooms, many insects, mice or rats live there, the balcony has amazing views over the river

  Unfortunately, like other reviewers, I have stayed here in the past and been very happy with both the service and the hotel. Now, however, there is room for much improvement. The local government is doing a major revamp of the shore line in My Tho, which has meant the Rang Dong hotel had to sell the land on which their lovely waterside restaurant was on to the government. At present it is half finished and not a very appealing sight. I can understand why the hotel owners are then reluctant to spend money on a the hotel until all works are completed. In two years there will be a street running along the shore line and the hotel will have a new restaurant and one would hope a major renovation. I found out all this info from the manager. After using his telephone to call a friend, he invited me to sit and have tea and sweet his mum had made. Very friendly bloke. If the price was little cheaper (cheapest being 200,000) I think people would be less likely to complain. Check back at this hotel in two and a half years. My guess is it will be beautiful.
