  Service quality was excellent — 10/10 for the friendliness of the staff. The team always welcomed guests with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, making us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. 😊 Our family had a wonderful and memorable experience at Hon Tam, enjoying the beautiful atmosphere and relaxing surroundings. It was truly a special getaway for us. 🌴✨ A special 10/10 for the BBQ at the villa. The staff were incredibly sweet and attentive, the portions were very generous, and the seafood was amazingly fresh and delicious. The BBQ setup and decoration were also beautifully arranged, creating a cozy and enjoyable dining experience by the villa. 🍤🔥 We highly recommend everyone to try the BBQ at the villa — it’s definitely an experience not to be missed! 💯

  Our mini vacation here was perfect. We came for just a couple of days, but it felt like a real escape into nature and peace. There are free hotel boats going to and from the island approximately every hour during the day and a bit less frequently in the evening The territory is huge, incredibly green, and beautifully maintained. There are so many trees and tropical plants everywhere, with lovely walking paths across the resort. You can hear birds and all kinds of natural sounds all day long, which creates a truly special atmosphere. It is very quiet, peaceful, and private, with beautiful views of the greenery and the sea. Because the property is so large, you really feel secluded and relaxed. The main pool is large and stunning, with little islands of trees inside the pool area that create natural shade and make the atmosphere even more beautiful and refreshing. We stayed in one of the furthest bungalows with jungle and sea views, and it was extremely calm and quiet there. In general, the hotel has a very peaceful atmosphere — no loud parties or noisy entertainment. Even the pool closes at 7 PM. Restaurant prices are slightly above average, but the portions for hot dishes are huge and everything we tried was delicious. The breakfast was absolutely amazing — honestly the best buffet breakfast I have seen in 5 years in Vietnam. There are many separate stations with different types of food, both European and Asian options, and even a proper coffee machine. The service and staff were excellent throughout our stay. Everything was well organized, and everyone was genuinely kind, welcoming, and professional. Our bungalow was beautiful and cozy, with a large terrace and a wonderful view, a big bathtub, two sinks, and bathrobes. In my opinion, the bungalows are much more atmospheric than the villa rooms, since the villas are shared between several guest rooms and only have one small shared pool per villa.

  Beautiful island, but needs renovation. I had a overall good experience in Hon Tam. It is located in a island where you can enjoy complete serenity that I was looking for. My favorite thing to do was talking a walk from the main restaurant to mud spa area beach. Walking by beautiful bungalow every morning was so relaxing. There were plenty of groundskeeping staff managing the resort's landscaped areas, taking care of the gardens and watering the plants. Staff provided a very warm and hospitable environment but only a few staff are fluent in English. Main pool by the Sea Breeze restaurant is big enough to hold many people and has various water levels. One thing I was not satisfied was the room condition which later I noticed that it's the constant negative feedback from many other visitors. As soon as I checked in to the room(a bungalow), I spotted a long blonde hair on the floor(I posted a picture here) and it was a shame that it became the first impression of the Hon Tam. Do the housekeeping staff use vacuums to clean the rooms, or do they only sweep by hand? I am afraid it's the latter. To maintain its 5-star reputation, the resort needs to clean the shower floors more thoroughly. In particular, the tile grout has become eyesore-level dirty and desperately needs repair(also picture posted). The drainage on the shower floor was also poor, so the water didn't drain well. As a result, after taking a shower, dirty water would sit around in a puddle for a long time.(1109 was my bungalow) If this had been a 4-star resort, I would have been more understanding and given a more generous review. However, since this place is known as a 5-star resort, these issues don't live up to that reputation. I'm leaving this feedback in hopes that it will help you improve.

  This stay was quite disappointing, as the service fell well below my expectations. First, we arrived at the front desk on the 2:00 p.m. ferry. Although check-in was supposed to begin at 3:00 p.m., our room was still not ready by then because it hadn't been cleaned. Second, after we were given our room key, no shuttle came to pick us up, and no staff member told us how long we would need to wait. There was an empty shuttle parked right outside the reception, but it wasn't until I asked that a staff member finally drove us to our room. Third, when we arrived at the room, the staff member simply left without helping us carry our luggage upstairs to the second floor. While we were struggling with our suitcases ourselves, another staff member came to our building but also made no attempt to help. In addition, the toilet cistern was faulty and sometimes wouldn't refill after flushing, making it difficult to use. The water pressure throughout the room was also extremely weak, both from the sink tap and the shower. As a five-star hotel, it was also very disappointing that the toiletries provided did not include conditioner. Overall, this experience did not match the standard of service I expected from a resort, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing.

  We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed the time we spent here. I traveled with my mother, and from the moment we arrived by boat and were welcomed by the staff, everything was smooth and well organized.The hotel grounds are beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. We especially appreciated how carefully the natural surroundings have been preserved. The ocean views, landscaping, lighting around the property, and swimming pools all create a very pleasant atmosphere.We also enjoyed visiting the mud baths and the historic houses on the island, which are worth exploring during your stay.The food was very good, with a wide selection of both European and Asian dishes available for breakfast and dinner. We were also happy to discover that room service is available 24/7, making it possible to order food at any time of day.A special thank you to the staff for helping us with our early airport transfer. They arranged a boat for us and even prepared breakfast to take with us, which we greatly appreciated.Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we have had. We travel often, and the level of service, attention to detail, and quality of the facilities made our stay especially enjoyable.We would be happy to return if we visit Nha Trang again 💛

  The good place to spend time at pool and beach and being relax. It was able to feel vacation on the island.But not much activities at there, and it might not be for the people who would like to enjoy marine activities and eat various Vietnamese food.Location:Not so far from main land. Guest can go Nha Trang city by boat for free. By room, it might be inconvenient to access to some facilities (pool, beach, restaurant and spa), guest should call buggy service.Facilities:Not bad. But also not so good. The air conditioner in room and restaurant didn’t work well, so we always sweated and feel uncomfortable. Maybe it’s because of old facility’s structures. Some equipments were not work well especially refrigerator in the guest room.Restaurant:Breakfast was very nice. On the other hand, the food in the menu was not attractive at all. In case of enjoy eating fresh seafood, must go to Nha Trang city area.In the restaurant, there were some sparrow. They were flying around inside the restaurant. Actually, the sparrows were flying over our head even while we were eating. When we went to grab some food at the breakfast buffet and left the table unattended, they would land on the table and ate the food left behind, which is extremely unhygienic. Honestly, I seriously question the hotel’s lack of awareness regarding this issue.Staff:Very kind and nice.

  Just got back from another trip to Hon Tam, and it's still the best reset button near Nha Trang. Ten minutes on the speedboat, and the city noise disappears. 🌊The beach is soft white sand, the water is crystal‑clear turquoise, and even on weekends it never feels packed. I floated on my back for an hour and the loudest sound was my own heartbeat. 😌Morning swim in the infinity pool overlooking the bay, another dip in the quieter garden pool, and yes — the mud baths again. Warm mineral mud, hot springs, skin like silk afterwards. 🛁Lunch was grilled prawns, a fresh coconut, and a cold beer with my toes in the sand. Simple, perfect.Hon Tam doesn't try to be fancy. It just does the basics — beach, pool, food, quiet — really, really well. I arrived stressed and left feeling light. Already planning the next trip. 🌺If you're in Nha Trang and need a break from the chaos, take the morning boat. Bring a book, leave the laptop.

  I recently had a short stay at Hòn Tằm Resort Nha Trang and overall it was a pretty satisfying experience.||In the morning, I had the breakfast buffet. The variety wasn’t huge, but it was enough and suited my taste. The best part was the dining area overlooking the sea—very open, relaxing, and a great way to start the day.||The room was clean with a nice view, and the whole resort has lots of greenery, so walking around felt really pleasant. It’s quiet and more suitable for relaxing rather than partying.||In the evening, I booked a BBQ at the villa, and this was definitely my favorite part. The seafood was fresh and tasty, and everything was nicely set up. The atmosphere at night was private and breezy with the sea air—super chill, perfect for just sitting, eating, and chatting. Staff were also there to help, so it was very convenient.||If you’re looking for a peaceful and private getaway, I think this place is worth trying.
