It's the best restaurant in Tam Coc! You have to try the burgers, the lemongrass chili chicken, and the BBQ meat! I came here every day! The owner is so friendly! The waitress are volunteers, and they have karaoke at night! It's so much fun! I highly recommend it! 🩷🤍🩷 Muchas gracias!

This was the most happening night spot in town on the weekend we visited. It was a mix of backpacker style travelers and locals having fun after work. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The food wasn't really exceptional, but it was perfectly fine, and the portions were massive. We aren't vegetarians, but we appreciate getting vegetarian meals sometimes, and they have vegetarian options for most dishes, except the spring rolls for some reason. We had a very nice experience.

Rustic Garden was one of the best reataurants we went to in Tam Coc. Really cheap happy hr beer (10K) and 2 for 1 vodka coctail. It was fun with good music and very friendly staff. The food was really good. We only had spring fresh veggie rolls, beef pho and sweet and sour pork with veggies! But everything that came out of the kitchen looked amazing!! This is a must try if u are in Tam Coc!!!!

We LOVED this place :) The vibe is excellent, live music every night is always a plus and the staff are super attentive and friendly! Really comfortable and welcoming environment, we went two nights in a row! Deal on local beer, 10k from 5-7, how can you turn down a deal like that?! Our last visit we chose to eat, and unfortunately I was pretty disappointed. We both ordered a burger, and both were pretty average, I hate to say it 🫣 The veggie burger was very soft, (a vegetable patty rather than mock meat), so soft it was difficult to eat, I got myself in quite the mess 😂😂 but that wasn’t the downfall really, the patty was really bland, definitely needed some seasoning! Otherwise we loved it here though! Big boy thank you to all the staff, we had an absolute BLAST and will 100% return if ever back in Ninh Binh. 🤙🏼

Very busy but friendly venue that I came across and popped into. Really good cocktail menu and every blended/frozen drink I had was properly cold - the first in SE Asia on this trip! Great entertainment; friendly staff, service was quick and efficient - for those eating food looked really good.

We stumbled into Rustic Garden Tam Coc in search of a relaxing drink and a snack, and were glad we did. Prime people-watching seats, great beer and wine, a lovely coconut coffee, fresh rolls, and a tasty seafood noodle dish. Exactly what we were looking for. We had to move on before happy hour kicked in — the seats filled up fast and there was good live music — but it looked like a great time, and reason enough to come back. Next visit, we're arriving early enough to stay for it.

I was super tired from travelling and had every intention of heading back to my accommodation when I spotted Rustic Garden. I noticed that they had live music on so I couldn't resist popping in for a cocktail. My espresso martini was delicious and the live singer was fabulous. I'll certainly be paying another visit tomorrow. Looking forward to experiencing the other cocktails and trying some food too

Rustic Garden Tam Coc Bar & Restaurant is a cozy-looking place with a pleasant atmosphere, located right in the heart of Tam Coc. The restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area surrounded by greenery, and the staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It looked like the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good meal after exploring the area. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the expectations. We ordered the pork skewers, which sounded like a great choice from the menu, but they turned out to be a real disappointment. The meat was extremely tough — so much that it was almost impossible to chew. I actually had to leave more than half of it on the plate because it simply couldn’t be eaten. The seasoning was fine, and you could tell they had tried to give it some flavor, but the texture completely ruined the dish. It’s a shame, because with better quality meat or proper cooking time, it could have been something enjoyable. On the positive side, the service was attentive and quick. The staff were polite, helpful, and efficient, checking in to make sure everything was okay and serving the food promptly. Even though the meal itself wasn’t great, I really appreciated their attitude — they did their best to provide good service and a positive experience overall. The price was reasonable for Tam Coc standards. We paid 225,000 VND for half a kilo of pork, which is in line with what you’d expect in this type of restaurant. It’s not particularly cheap, but not expensive either. The problem was purely with the quality and texture of the meat, not the pricing. The restaurant itself is clean, nicely decorated, and has a relaxed vibe. It’s the kind of place where you’d want to stay for a drink or two, as it doubles as a bar in the evenings. The atmosphere is good and the staff make you feel welcome, which is why I’m still giving it three stars instead of less — they clearly care about customer service, even if the kitchen missed the mark this time. Overall, Rustic Garden Tam Coc Bar & Restaurant has potential — the setting is lovely, and the team is friendly and efficient — but the food quality needs serious improvement. Tough, overcooked meat shouldn’t be something you encounter in a dish that’s supposed to highlight local flavors. If they can improve the way the meat is cooked and ensure the pork is tender and juicy, this could easily become one of the better dining spots in Tam Coc. For now, it’s an average experience with good service but disappointing food.
