  It's not often I review an establishment whilst I am eating, but wowzer..... This place is definitely worth a visit. Off the tourist strip, but only by a block or two. Family run, pleasant smiles, a spotlessly clean toilet, great selection of beers & cider, garlic chips to die for, quirky oil drums for tables and chilled music playing in the background. Suitable for families, non & vibey types, people looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine that considers westeners wanting to try different Asian specialialities but also looking for something familiar from home, and at prices that suit backpackers budgets. We hadn't even started our meal, but knew straight away what were about to savour would be worth our visit here.

  Highly recommend ! We were looking for somewhere to eat and this place popped up. Amazing find- about 5 minutes from the river. All home cooked food, lovely owner and lovely little restaurant. Beer on draft- great selection of hot & cold drinks ! The prawn crackers were amazing & the beef noodles so so good ! I'd give more stars if it would let me - if you're hungry and not sure where to go - DEFINITELY go here ! Delicious food & service Thank you

  Marvelous dinner. We came up a bit late on a Saturday night, the main street was chaotic and here we found the serenity and peace we wanted for a dinner. The owner was so thoughtful and kept assisting us and checking for everything to be okay. The beers on tap were great (Stout and IPA) and we had to try a re-run of a plate. The rice with bacon in more a Crispy Pork plate, witch is one of my favourites, and it was almost 22h30 and she didn't mind to make us another one. Definitely a place to drop by, it's parallel to the main street, just keep looking for the entrance sign and you can't miss it. Best surprise underground local place. Just get away from the busy old town street and come here.

  Wow! Blown away by the quality of the food in this very unprepossessing, modest “craft beer & coffee” joint. We had a plate of very tender beef tenderloin served with a delicious jus, the most perfectly cooked squid (and I’ve tried plenty) and baby Pak Choi with chilli and garlic. Without question the best meal in the 7 days we’ve been in Vietnam and the icing on the cake is there are some fantastic chilled draught beers to enjoy too. Really special.

  Why were we the only guests in this restaurant? That was the first thing we asked ourselves because it truly deserves to be full. The beer was perfectly poured, honestly one of the best we’ve had so far in Vietnam. We haven’t experienced beer served this well anywhere else here. And the food? Absolutely outstanding. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Vietnam. A hidden gem that deserves much more attention.

  I just had an amazing experience at this homestay and had to jump on here to share it! The host was incredibly trustworthy, super friendly, and helped us with literally everything from the moment we booked until we checked out. What surprised me the most was that she even gave us a really generous discount — such a pleasant and unexpected bonus! The room was super clean, fresh, and well-maintained. Everything smelled nice, felt cozy, and the amenities were better than expected. For the price we paid, it was honestly such a great deal. And the location? Absolutely perfect. It’s only a few steps away from the Old town walking street — super convenient for food, sightseeing, and exploring. But despite being that close, the area is surprisingly quiet. No traffic noise, no chaotic tourist sounds. We slept so well. The host also arranged motorbike rentals for us right on-site, which made our trip way easier. The bikes were in great condition, and we spent the whole day exploring without any issues. She also shared lots of helpful local tips about where to eat and what to visit, which made the experience feel like we were being guided by a local friend. Overall: trustworthy host, great price, clean rooms, perfect location, and top-tier service. If you’re hesitating — don’t. I 100% recommend staying here. You won’t regret it!

  Decided to call in here during our stay in Nihm Binh, beer was great, food portions were huge, not the best we've had out here still good enough if a little too oily. Definitely worth popping into if you're near or about Walking Street. It's tucked away so don't think it gets the patronage it deserves.
