  The cucumber and tomato salad was so refreshing and pretty! We also had the vegetable spring rolls, pumpkin pizza, the goat pizza and the lemongrass chicken. It was all delicious!

  We both had a very delicious vegetarian tofu based dish. Excellent flavours and a good sized portion. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean restaurant and toilets. Shame we discovered this place on our last night. Highly recommend.

  We have eaten at starlight 3 times this week. We think it is the best restaurant in Trang an, and we’ve tried a few others. We enjoyed the chicken smites ( I asked for it to be well cooked and it was lovely) , the chicken in coconut water ( very tasty) , and also the chicken in guise leaves. The ladies in there really look after you and service is good. Only negative in the atmosphere is the billiards table. Which plays through the meal. Westerners aren’t used to this and it can be noisy. But it seems a common thing round here in other restaurants as well.

  Great family owned place. Was served by owner’s son who was very professional and sweet. The atmosphere was lovely at night with lots of warm lights and music. We were also entertained by the family’s adorable puppies running around. They had western and local food which all looked good as we watched it come from the kitchen. We ordered some local dishes which were all delicious. Overall a great place for a relaxed dinner.

  I have been staying at a Homestay near this restaurant for a few days and I have come here each day for lunch. Everything I have ordered has been amazing! It's also a great place to sit, read my book and people watch after my meal. The family that owns the restaurant are very welcoming and kind. Highly recommend!

  Small family owned business. Kids were great waiters with good English. Even had a good banter with their customers. Huge Western and Vietnamese menu. Had a huge Angus beef burger. Was very impressed with the quality. Cheap food with good portion sizes. Even gave free bottles of water.

  Lovely meal here. Fantastic service by the family’s son who is great at his job and speaks fantastic English! The food was delicious with generous portions. Plenty of vegetarian options - the chili & garlic tofu was particularly good. Nice and relaxed atmosphere with cute decor. Recommend!

  The WORST place I have been to. Even the gin and tonic was horrible. We saw other tables leaving their food uneaten after we had ordered so we were nervous and when ours arrived it was horrible. We told them we would pay for the drinks but not the food as we didn’t eat any because it was so bad. On the way out she grabbed my Mum (62) and nearly knocked her over. We happily paid for the drinks but I wish we hadn’t. Do not recommend at all. There are other lovely places round here, do not be fooled by all the good reviews. Edit: I can confirm the reply is in fact false, we were more than happy to pay for drinks (even though not very nice) which we did. The owner who manhandled my 62 year old mother fails to take responsibility for terrible food, which I can now see has been highlighted in other recent reviews. We bumped into the other table mentioned in the reply, who let us know they also left due to terrible food.
