  I stumbled upon this place while riding past on a bicycle... the owner (?) was out front trying to wave people in, so I took a chance, and I was very happy with my decision. I ordered a papaya salad, expecting a small serving, and spring rolls. The spring rolls were amazing, and by themselves would have filled me up. The papaya salad was a huge plate full of deliciousness, very fresh and flavorful. The woman who was running things was very friendly and attentive, and when she asked if I would write a review, I was happy to do it.

  The woman that runs the restaurant is really nice and friendly. She showed us all the vegetarian food she had and offered us different sizes of the dishes. When we were ordering she recommended the fresh spring rolls and it was such a good decision, although they were less chode shaped than I like they were still delicious. Absolutely recommend this place ! Lovely

  Me and my sister stayed for 2 nights. We only booked for 1 night because we messed up reservation dates at another place, and ended up canceling our other hostel because we liked this one so much! The owner is so welcoming, we absolutely loved staying there ♡ there us a booking desk for busses, you can withdraw cash, there are tons of good restaurants around and a great spa next door. You can't really go wrong staying here!

  Stayed in a twin room at the hostel for two nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff are very welcoming and hospitable. You can rent bicycles from there for a reasonable price and they will provide you with a map and directions for your adventures. Room was one of the most comfortable we've had in Vietnam. Food at the restaurant is tasty and definitely fresh. Highly recommended!

  I was convinced by the hostel staff’s recommendation and good reviews to go to this restaurant. When I walked in, I only saw two groups of guests. As it was cold outside, I ordered a seafood hotpot. I didn’t count but I had to wait a while for the food to be ready. I felt a little betrayed by the review. However, when the food came, I was satisfied by both quality and quantity of seafood and veggies. I could taste the quality of fish. I guess the restaurant doesn’t compromise the quality for the speed and price. The service was a bit slow but the staff was caring. Out of her kindness, she even offered free ginger tea to another guest who was sick.

  The location is great and the prices are low. However, they politely declined to extend my stay because I had forgotten to turn off the air conditioning while I was out for food. I wasn’t even aware I was the only one in the room and wouldn’t have checked behind the curtain if someone was still there. I understand their decision even though it seems a bit over the top. The beds are simply tied up and not changed after each guest. I was surprised to find a stained sheet when I checked in and the next morning when I heard them clearly swiping the sheets. They now have a convenient store on the first floor so there’s no common space. The bathroom and shower are nice.

  We came with great expectations, since we read the reviews. It was nothing like it. The owner was very busy with costumers coming to her travel agency, and everything was very very slow. We asked for veggie food and got our spring rolls with fish souse. Everything was small and even our toddlers had to ask for seconded French fries. The price was resonable I must say

  Great location for Tam Coc, excellent, accommodating and lovely host. She went the extra mile and even made me lots of hot ginger tea as I had a sore throat and cough. We ate all our meals ther for the two days we were in Tam Coc, freshly prepared by our host. She’s an amazingly cook, and we really enjoyed her food. I recommend this place for eating and/or staying a few nights and as a good base for exploring the area. Mrs Lua will help you with everything, she’s an actual superwoman!
