We had a great time at Ninh Binh and Tam Coc area and very much enjoyed our stay at hidden charm hotel. The location is great. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have everything you need. We used the pool a few times to break away from the heat. Everyone in the staff is very friendly and helpful. Kippie, Tran Hong, the front desk and anyone we spoke with gave outstanding service. They helped with local recommendations, laundry, and even ordering flowers for my wife’s birthday. We ate at the hotel multiple times and had delicious pho. They were very tentative and planned for our food restrictions (eg soy milk instead of dairy). Would recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was beautifully organized, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special mention goes to Annie Nguyen, the restaurant manager, who was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout our stay, especially with our daughter. She made sure every detail was perfect and always greeted us with a genuine smile. Her care and dedication truly elevated our experience. Highly recommended, we would definitely come back!

It is a great stop if you are in Ninh Binh for couple of days. Special note for Indian Travellers preferring veg breakfast, you can put your request at reception and they will take care. The staff is very helpful and they try to take care of your comfort. The location is near by the local market and Tam Coc boat riding point. We were a group of 11 people and we really enjoyed the stay

The Hidden Charm was a fabulous hotel, very comfortable and I magnificent setting. The gardens are beautiful with an outdoor bar set in the front garden. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Breakfast selection is vast and the staff at the hotel were very friendly and professional. A great choice to stay at and within easy walking if the shops and restaurants. Wonderful stay!!

Beautiful luxury stay in Tam coc, location wise perfect near Tam coc boating and also many eateries and massage etc. rooms are well made , has taken 3 pax room , was big enough . Breakfast Buffet was good, though being a pure vegetarian would always crave for more options. Thank you Thai for your great help during breakfast. The view from rooms is very beautiful indeed. There is a souvenir store, pool and coffee shop too. Friendly staff . Had a very comfortable stay.

Stayed here recently and overall the experience was mixed. The staff we interacted with were friendly and pleasant, and the rooms themselves were satisfactory. However, the hotel appears to be understaffed and several advertised amenities/services were either unavailable or difficult to access. The hotel advertises three restaurants, but not all of them were open during our stay. The pool bar was also closed every time we visited the pool, typically late afternoon. On one occasion we asked passing staff if someone could attend the bar, but nobody returned. Service for drinks was consistently slow or non existent. On our first night we waited around 10 minutes just to place a drink order at the ground floor restaurant, despite only one table being occupied, and then another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive. In the end the drinks were simply left at the welcome desk by the bar staff and after waiting so long we collected them ourselves as the wait staff appeared overwhelmed serving the single table that was occupied. On another evening around 7:30pm we tried to order a drink at the Octagon bar, but nobody was there and inside at the restaurant we were told only canned beer or soft drink was available because there was no bartender present. The rooms were comfortable enough, although they took quite a while to cool down as the air conditioning turns off while guests are out of the room. It was really hot while we were there with temps in the high 30s and real feels in the 40s. Overall, the hotel has potential and the staff were genuinely nice, but the lack of available facilities and limited staffing impacted the experience.

So I usually don’t write a review but I gotta say, this was one of the most memorable stay here in VN. The staff are super friendly and attentive and helped us with an upgrade in room when we requested it. Especially the spa services, all the staff were so kind and the massage was Absolutely amazing!!!! They are all very experienced and know exactly where I needed the help of the most. ||I would highly recommend asking for Thuy Xuyen Nhung for the services. ||Would definitely come back here again, it’s definitely a hidden gem and super charming!

The location is the plus of this hotel. Being located in old quarter, everything that is considered touristy in Hanoi is walking distance from this hotel. Train street, temple at lae side, old quarter shops, hop on and off bus, water puppet theater and being a vegetarian we had 2 Indian restaurants at walking distance. We were also able to get the good rate for usd to dong conversion at the hotel reception. The breakfast was included in the cost and I would say they had few good vegetarian options. We booked 3 rooms and since my room had bug problem, i have rated it a 3 star. Still i would recommend it bcoz one can save a lot due to its location.
