Stayed at this hotel as part of a Trip a Deal tour. Rooms where very nice with a great roof top pool. Staff where very helpful and quickly replaced a faulty bar fridge on my arrival. A special thank you to staff at this hotel for there efforts when I inadvertently left my cash in the room safe when I checked out. The staff quickly contacted my tour guide to advise of the discovery of the money. Hotel staff worked with my tour guide to return my money in full. Thank you to the hotels very honest staff for returning my money.

Stayed at Ninh Bình Legend Hotel in Building B and had a lovely stay overall. The room was amazing and the bathroom was absolutely to die for — easily one of the nicest hotel bathrooms I’ve had while travelling in Vietnam. The only small issue with the room was the window. Even when fully closed, there was quite a large gap that allowed some bugs and rain to get in. Thankfully it wasn’t anything too major and didn’t ruin the stay. The food at the hotel was excellent, and the staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Although I didn’t get the chance to see or use the rooftop infinity pool, I really enjoyed spending time at the indoor pool instead. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ninh Bình.

Pleasant stay at the hotel. Got a connecting room on 11 floor for 2 groups. Everybody there is polite and respectful. Place is quite central and big parking space. Shower current is strong, but water keeps hot and cold hot and cold. Breakfast buffet was good The only thing that needs to be improved are 1) hand soap at bathroom is spoilt 2) there was a used towel hanged at the bathroom door which was not cleaned 3) infinity pool a lot of flies and bugs 3) infinity pool bar cocktail tasted like carbonated soda, more like mocktail.

We stayed for 2 nights during a organized trip in the north of Vietnam. The hotel is big and has 2 towers, an older one and a new one. We stayed in the new one and the room was fantastic, super clean, big and modern. During our stay the rooftop pool and bar was closed but the ground floor pool was still very nice. The breakfast buffet is quite good, noddle soup, egg station, fruits and much more. The restaurant is ok but atmosphere is not good the best, it’s too big. Much nicer to take a grab taxi and drive 5min to the walking street. The hotel is located in an area with not much around so not best location but easy to drive 5 min by grab.

Stay at Pullman or somewhere cheaper. This hotel isn't worth the money, the rooms are nice but the service is terrible. I wanted to get an ice bucket to the room and the hotel tried to charge me money for ice, crazy. Guests letting their kids run around and scream in the halls until 1am, the hotel doesn't do anything about it. I feel like the staff doesn't want to work at all. This hotel could only survive in the North with this type of service.

Hotel rooms are.nice, food ok. However, we paid for breakfast and since we had an early start to the day, were offered a packed one. This vonsisted of 2 slices of plain bread, a small.muffin and a banana. This is not appropriate for a 5 star hotel

This place holds a special place in my heart. I booked at the last minute after changing my plans stayed for a week and spent my 50th birthday here. I had been on an escorted tour which i spontaneously left as it wasn’t as expected and randomly chose Ninh Binh and this hotel as a destination for some down time; I’d never heard of either the town or hotel a few days before which now feels unreal as they’re both so vast and beautiful that I can’t believe more people don’t know about them. I had a few issues at the beginning due to some ongoing health/stress issues (exacerbated by the tour, so I really wanted some down time) which meant I was grouchy about ongoing conference and construction noise on site, and about the fact that the rooftop pool/bar was closed. The construction noise IS a bit annoying, but I learned to live with the timings and sleep around it (early to bed, early to rise), however the warmth, friendliness and professionalism of the team and comfort of the room made up for it. The rooms are huge and very well equipped with shower and freestanding bath with a view, minibar, large beds and comfy bedding. Apart from the construction noise it’s very quiet and you cannot hear noise from other rooms. The breakfast buffet was huge. A couple of things to improve: more vegan/veggie options maybe and also keep the coffee and food warm and fresh. The buffet ends early at 9am and as most guests are on tours they tend to eat early and there are fewer people around after 8am. Anytime I ate after 8am the coffee was cold and they stopped preparing fresh eggs unless you asked, which took more time. I understand the eggs but the coffee should be refilled regularly. In the end I didn’t use the pool once as I was out seeing the beautiful scenery but I did have some cocktails (different ones each day) from the bar which were lovely. Housekeeping was really good and efficient. Anything I ordered from room service was really good - hot and tasty. I do eat fish but not meat and think there could be more options for pescatarians, vegetarians and vegans. I usually avoid dairy as it upsets my stomach but felt it was hard to avoid here (which is common in many hotels). What really stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the team that work here and I felt very taken care on. The staff took on board my request for as quiet a room as possible and were really thoughtful with some beautiful birthday gifts and an amazing cake which I polished off far too quickly! Also they offered a free foot massage as an apology for the noise. They are courteous and polite without being overbearing and are helpful with giving suggestions of where to visit and arranging transport. I felt I had lots of space to reflect on my milestone birthday in peaceful solitude, which was really important to me, and although I was a bit inpatient in finding my “zen”, I did find it, thanks to the team and this beautiful part of the world, Thank you so much Legend Team! You are all lovely and I miss you and NB!
