  No paperwork, no reservation, you just come, give them 150k VND and you get a scooter for a day. The staff doesn’t know English but they give you contact to the owner who arranges everything with you and then responds promptly on WhatsApp. The scooters are pretty worn out (our was not showing speed at all, fuel was always in 100%, and it did strange sounds), but it gets the job done of visiting the main areas around the town without issue. Overall good experience.

  We rented three scooters. The lights only worked on high beam. None of the speedometers were functioning. There were only small helmets available; for two out of the three they didn’t fit and even came off while riding. At least the tires and brakes were in good condition.

  I have no idea what happened to all those nice bikes from the photos, I guess they wore out. We were generously offered a choice of one old, beaten-up bike: the right mirror was hanging on by sheer willpower, the phone holder was held together with a rubber band, and the front panel rattled so violently while riding that I genuinely braced myself for the bike to fall apart beneath me. The tank came with just enough gas to reach the nearest gas station and this isn’t an oversight, it’s official policy, proudly displayed next to the QR code for payment! And the cherry on top: to guarantee we wouldn’t steal this heap of junk, the rental requires your documents as a deposit

  Motorbikes are very old and not in good working condition The man was very nice to deal with but the woman was unpleasant We rented the bike for 2 days (48 hours) but the woman wanted to charge us for 3 days. I have rented from many shops in Asia and I have never come across this policy. She eventually refunded the money I don’t recommend renting here due to the quality of the bikes and trying to overcharge people
