  We have loved our stay in this hostel, extending it several times because it's been a comfortable stopover after a week in Hanoi. The location is great, right in the middle of Ninh Binh, central to all of the tourist attractions in the area rather than close to one & far from all the others. They have bicycles & motorcycles available for rent if you don't feel like walking. They also have information on any sort of transportation you could imagine, to so many destinations, both within Ninh Binh & in Vietnam in general. The facilities are amazing: comfortable beds, a nice AC, plenty of bathrooms with hot water, reliable internet, & I love their system for taking off your shoes; you only take them off when you enter the room but you wear shoes around the hostel as it's basically outside. The place is cleaned regularly, which is much appreciated with so many people coming & going. They offer affordable laundry service as well. The staff have really made this stay amazing as well. They have been so friendly from the beginning & are available to help with anything, always answering questions. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone coming to Ninh Binh!

  For almost nothing it’s a really nice place to stay. You can rent scooters for 120.000 Vnd per day which is really cheap, i definitely recommend that. The rooms are clean and every bunk has a curtain which i like a lot. The outside area is a nice area to chill and hang out, although the pool table definitely could use some maintenance. The staff are really nice and helpful as well. Definitely recommend.

  I had to leave early because of a night bus but the staff was very nice about it and even offered to take me to the bus. I think this place offers amazing value for the price and they will give you lots of recommendations for the local spots if you ask. Highly recommend!

  We loved our stay at City Garden Ninh Bình! Leo and his staff were the loveliest crew, always smiling and super helpful with anything we were looking for. Leo even helped us when we hired scooters for the day and our tyre popped. He drove half an hour to find us and exchange our bike! He organised our transport to the next stop and helped with scooter directions and routes to avoid high traffic and trucks to make it safer for us! We could not recommend their service enough!

  It’s cheap, located in Ninh Binh city centre and has nice facilities. The bed is just okay, pillow is very uncomfortable as it’s extremely thin. Depending on your bunk, you may have large gaps where items and light can shine in making it difficult to sleep if the person next to you has their light on all night. Service is friendly enough, you need to pay 10k for a towel. The bathroom areas are clean but sharing with around 24 others as theres only two showers for the top floor. The common area is really nice, plenty of space to relax by yourself or meet others. Overall its a decent choice for a 1 night stay on a budget.

  Beds are comfortable and clean. The localisation is really bad, it's like being stuck in a hole. Also the staff is not helpful at all, we needed scooter and we booked this hostel because they said they have scooter. Spoiler alert their scooter are dead and they need to rent ones from an other place. This other place haven't any disposable scooter for us, we ask him if he know where we can go. "No". Where can we have bycyle? "no response". As always the bathroom are dirty.

  The bed was neat and clean. The bathrooms are neat and clean. Good wifi. Good common area. But they don't have shower gel and shampoo. They don't have water dispensars. They don't provide towel. For towel you can rent it for 10k. And big water bottle is for 50k. The location is also not good. I didn't enjoyed my stay here. Hostel should provide the basic necessity like others do in vietnam.

  Lovely family run hostel, very kind and helpful with organising tours and transport. |Clean and tidy rooms and communal bathrooms. |Air con was great in the bedrooms. |Could not fault this hostel would definitely recommend, perfect for backpackers :)
