I have been traveling throughout Vietnam: Ho Chi Minh City – Mui Ne – Nha Trang – Quy Nhon – Hanoi – Sapa, and finally here in Ninh Binh. Not long after starting my trip, I developed an allergic reaction that began around my neck and spread down to my chest. The itching was so severe that it was truly distressing. In each city I visited, I went to local pharmacies and used various ointments and creams that were prescribed to me, but my condition kept getting worse. I scratched so much that my skin even started to bleed. After arriving in Ninh Binh, I visited MINH NGOC Pharmacy. Ms. Ngoc carefully examined my condition and prescribed both a topical ointment and oral medication. By the second day of using them, the itching had completely disappeared, and by the third day, the red areas gradually began returning to my normal skin tone. Ms. Ngoc is truly an angel—someone with a warm heart who genuinely cares for her patients. I would recommend this place a million times over.

Came in this morning as I had cut my finger quite deeply and wanted a professional opinion. The lady who helped me was so lovely and helpful! She recommended what to buy and bandaged my finger up for me! Also her English was amazing! Would definitely recommend 😃

Fantastic Chemist. The Pharmacist really knows her stuff. My husband got very sick with seemed like chest infection after we visited Sapa we had been to a pharmacy in Sapa and Hanoi and had various liquid medicine and when we arrived in Tam coc 5 days later and he was still coughing badly and fluey we went to this pharmacy as we only had 5 days left on our trip before we were flying back to Australia. The first thing she said was he looks tired and asked does he have high blood pressure we said no but told her what was going on she said I think he needs antibiotics and if he is not feeling better by tomorrow he needs to go to hospital and have a chest xray. She gave him 2 lots of antibiotics to be taken together and told us to keep up the cough medicine as well and then gave him free lozenges for when he was having a coughing fit in the middle of the night. The next day he felt heaps better and by the time we flew home he was not coughing at all he went to the Dr on return to Australia and all good. Best pharmacy in Tam Coc if anyone needs medical help/advice this is your place speaks fantastic english, very reasonably priced, great service. Thank you again for your help!!!

I was very sick with food poisoning and came here. The owner was so kind, generous and helpful. She advised me, and let me rest there. She spoke excellent English, very knowledgeable, but most importantly she was sincerely worried about my health. I appreciate the comfort and help she gave, and advise anyone with a health problem to go here!

This pharmacy is a reliable option with a good stock of products, making it very convenient for tourists in need of medical supplies. The staff is helpful, but they tend to recommend buying more items than you actually need, so it is best to stick strictly to your checklist. Overall, it is a safe and useful spot to know, just be clear about what you are looking for.

I bought a La Roche Posay Anthelios UVmune SPF 50 face cream in this pharmacy which appears to be fake. The box was crumpled and looked like it had been opened. When I opened the cream it had a very different texture, smell and colour to the original I have and the label was faded, despite costing roughly €12. I have used this product for many years and when I applied it, it felt totally different. My partner also bought eyedrops and he was not comfortable using these now either as we do not trust them to be the real thing.
