Such a lovely restaurant with even lovely owners! The food is so comforting with a homemade feel. The food is all cooked by the owners wife who we got to talk too! I really recommend getting their clay pot fish, and it was soooo good with some plain white rice! Other dishes i recommend is the fried pork belly and the tomato tofu (which was reminiscent to the chinese egg and tomato dish if you are keen!). This was definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in Hanoi purely by how happy it made my stomach!

Amazing restaurant. The whole family is absolutely lovely and gives you such a welcoming feeling. We’ve got great recommendations and tried the specialty, the braised fish, which was just amazing, totally recommend this dish. Also nice was the passionfruit salad. Steamed rice was tasty and we tried some of the com chay (burnt rice) which was super nice too. Loved everything about this restaurant and would come back in a heartbeat.

Ordered braised fish, stuffed tofu in tomato sauce, and a vegetable soup with crab. The clay pot rice was good texture. My partner liked the braised fish — the bones are soft to eat and the meat still holds together. It is a special dish. Give it a try! The stuff tofu and soup were delicious too. The food came out almost all at once so you can enjoy your meal well. The owners/staff are friendly. If you hear pitter patter of feet from the upper floor, don’t worry, it’s the family’s cats playing chase. In front of the restaurant has enough space to park bicycles or motorbikes. We came for early dinner which was perfect because there was no wait for seating and the food comes out in the order parties come in.

This is a family-run restaurant with lovely and welcoming owners. The food is very tasty and clearly prepared with care. The braised fish in the clay pot is especially worth trying. Overall, a perfect place for a satisfying meal in Tam Coc.

Very authentic! We stayed in town and walked here for the clay pot food. Family owned and run, literally the owner/father was cooking it, grandfather watching the front and welcoming people. Even met the owners little baby son! Very clean and quiet area. Has lots of tables that can accommodate large groups. Good meals - particularly the clay pot fish and the goat that went into rice rolls with pineapple and cilantro! Would come back again.

Absolutely delicious. The special braised fish fish is unlike anything I've ever had before. Slow cooked for 16 hours, it just melts. Even the bones are delicious and just dissolve on your mouth. A must try!

If you’re in Tam Coc, this is a great restaurant to go to. The chef’s famous braised fish was very tender and flavourful. It was also nice that once we sat down, the chef’s dad spoke to us and asked us questions while teaching us about Vietnam’s history at the same time. Overall great experience.
