We loved Grandma’s Garden. After struggling to find fresh, reliable Vietnamese food in Ninh Binh that matched what we were looking for, this place was such a good find. The food tasted really clean and fresh, the vibe was chilled, and the prices were great too. We tried the beef pho, chicken noodles, bun cha and fried spring rolls — everything was delicious, but the bun cha was the standout for us. Absolutely amazing. We stayed nearby so it was super convenient, and we ended up wishing we’d found it earlier in our trip. Definitely recommend if you want fresh, tasty Vietnamese food without the touristy feel.

One of the best meals I had in Ninh Bình. Highly recommended! The flavor of both dishes was incredible, everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The staff was also very kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The restaurant had a really nice atmosphere, and the service was fast and professional. Definitely worth stopping by if you are visiting Ninh Binh.

We ordered 25 + 30 (Fried rice with beef & deep fried spring rolls). Portion sizes were more than generous!! We should have ordered just one dish 🤣🫣😁♥️ And 2 coffees. They deserve a separate paragraph.we already have had the salted one and we thought it was a blast! But we ordered this time the Yogurt Coffee (a hidden gem in my humble opinion). This wasn't sweet, a bit sour and creamy. My new favourite! This is our 2nd time here. Previously we ordered Chicken Bahn Me. Was great as well!

We ate here because it is close to where we stayed and the review is good, and it did not disappoint! we actually quite surprised at how big the portion is. the springroll is indeed good as many other said. we ordered chicken salad and it is so fresh, generous amount of chicken, enough dressing and it is delicious. ordered chicken fried rice too and it is quite unique since they separate the chicken - made it into some kind of stir fried chicken with tomato and vegs on its own, but it is tasty nevertheless. oh and their smoothies also, we tried mango smoothies and it is so refreshing!

Delicious avocado smoothie bowl and fried spring rolls with icy coconut coffee to cool off. A nice quiet garden area at the back. Kind service, clean. Recommended! ☺️

We had the BEST banh mi during our trip here at Grandma’s Garden. It was freshly made, warm, good portion of meat filling and just delicious overall. We had both the chicken and pate banh mi and liked both equally. We also had the salt coffee and bac xiu (coffee with condensed milk and fresh milk) both of which were absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is also so so nice, such a beautiful little garden hidden behind the streets. Also loved the service and hospitality, you can tell this is a family run restaurant and everyone is super friendly with all food freshly made

Absolutely amazing experience! The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious food, from international dishes like burgers, French baguettes, and loaded fries to traditional Vietnamese favorites such as bánh mì, bún chả, fried rice, and phở. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was just as impressive as the food. The beautiful garden-style setting, surrounded by lush greenery, warm lighting, and a charming stone pathway, created a relaxing and cozy vibe. It was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a meal, and spend quality time with friends and family. What made the experience even better was the friendly and welcoming staff. They were attentive, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Great food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for both Vietnamese and international cuisine.

I had the stir fried chicken noodles. The noodles itself were tasty however some bits of the chicken tasted quite rubbery and chewy, which wasn’t as pleasant to eat. Maybe I just got unlucky. My boyfriend had the chicken banh mih and he liked it. Still recommend eating here.
