  It was so delicious 🤤 We had the pan fried goat meat which you eat with mint and other herbs wrapped in a leave. You should try it. The fried rice and the fried summer rolls were also very delicious! The service is lovely. Highly recommend this place.

  Lovely place. Pan fried goat is delicious including the way you eat it with all the different leaves. The fried rolls were great.

  The best of the best! The food is so delicious, freshly made, very quick. You realise immediately the quality of the food from the juicy meat and fresh local herb that they serve together with the goat dishes. The sauce is the secret ingredients adding to the delicious dishes, don’t miss it. The services from the owner is what I love the most. Seeing us coming with 2 young children, they do the best they can to make us feel like home. The owner even generously offered us the food they cooked for their baby and happy to cook for us dishes for our toddler which are not in the menu. This is the warm hospitality of the Vietnamese people, this is what I love from this country. I wish them the best. Restaurant like this should be known by tourists like us who need to taste true local food and experience the best service in town. They just changed to new location which is about 200m away from the old place. Just ask people at Hoa Lu ancient capital entrance when you get there

  The best spring rolls of our entire trip! We’ve traveled through Hanoi and Sapa, but the spring rolls here were easily the highlight. We also tried the mountain goat (a Ninh Binh specialty) and it was good. The pho, noodles, and fried rice were all very tasty as well. Very reasonable prices for the quality you get.

  We kept coming back for the chiếc nem rán (fried spring roll) 3 days in a row 😋 It is that good. The best thing I ever ate, so crispy, so fresh. Pho was amazing, the sautéed goat (Dê xào lăn) was delicious served with tons of fresh herbs. Drinks were also very fresh, and the family running the restaurant was so welcoming and nice to us 🙏

  Restaurant with amazing local food. We had the Sautee goat and fried rolls (best I ever ate). The people are so friendly!!! Highly recommend this place!

  I really want to take the time to give this place the best review possible. My husband and I stopped by yesterday as the rain was pretty heavy, and we were completely soaked. The ladie running the restaurant welcomed us with a smile and told us we didn't have to buy anything if we just wanted to shelter from the rain. We did order some drinks, tho cause we needed a pick me up break. I had vietnamese tea, and it was so cosy to get something warm for the body. Then, her dad came out and offered me grapefruit. I told him I liked it, so the ladie brought me more with some kind of vietnamese Tajin. She told me her dad picked them up on the mountains. We spent a long while there, and she was super nice and friendly. She advised us over the weather and recommended that we change our route as the northern rains are quite bad at the moment, and roads and places have not recovered yet from the typhoon. We were really grateful to have come across her, as that information was very useful to us. The restaurant has a great selection of food, too, so please keep that in mind when you come to see Hao Lu Ancient City. Prices are very affordable. Thank you for your advice, your time, and for letting us get warm after a long, rainy day.
