  I highly recommend this vegetarian restaurant. The owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and he even accommodated our request (no onions or garlic). Every dish was fresh and made with the owner's skill.

  The restaurant was a really great experience 👌 The food was delicious and full of flavor, and everything was prepared with care. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, which is something you don’t always find 👏 Most importantly, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always smiling and respectful. I highly recommend giving this place a try 🌟

  The food was so tasty, the owner is super attentive and helpful. I was lucky to find this restaurant, it's a little bit of the crowded Tam Coc but it's well worth it. Super recommended!

  We had a delicious and memorable meal at Anuj’s amazing restaurant here in Ninh Binh. I never thought I would eat such good Indian food in the Vietnamese countryside! The flavours of the dishes were all so vibrant and fresh. We felt so welcomed by Anuj’s great hospitality. I highly recommend this spot - such great food, great hospitality and great vibes. Anuj and his wife even held and entertained our baby while we ate!

  Just had the best indian chaat in Ninh binh thanks to this sweet owner Mr. Anuj 🥹 fresh pav bhaji + chole puri made while we waited, tasted exactly like home. he even made me chai after I said it's been months since my last one... thank you bhai!! highly recommend if you're missing indian street food here!!

  Wow what an incredible find! The owner knows exactly what can be made vegan and lots can, and oh my word it’s so delicious! We couldn’t help but order more than we intended to and come back the next day!! An elite veggie find with an amazing range of vegan options!! Absolutely would recommend and this is evident by the exclusively 5 star reviews!

  I was lucky to find this place as this place was on the main road easy to spot. Let me tell you about the food it was AMAZING!!! It was so hard to believe that the food was without garlic. The taste was so good it felt like I was eating in India. The owner Anuj Goyal was so welcoming & forthcoming. He welcomed us like their own. I will tell you if you are here you should definitely eat here.

  My partner and I visited Pure Veg Cafe twice on our trip to Ninh Binh (19th/20th April 2026). Anuch (owner and chef) is an absolutely incredible chef and I found all of his dishes to be superior in taste and quality to all Indian street food establishments that I have tried in the UK. He truly has a talent for preparing such flavourful dishes that we had to return the following night. This is a new restaurant but his expertise in cooking and his experience in hosting are very obvious from the jump. He recommends dishes if you are unfamiliar with the cuisine and makes the food all fresh behind a counter across from the seating. A real gentleman and a beautiful establishment. We have travelled Vietnam for 5+ weeks and this was my partners favourite food on our travels! 😂
