  Best indian restaurant in ninh binh. But on two occasions we couldn’t eat here as once they stopped the lunch service 30minutes before closing time and once they had only buffet for lunch with chicken curry being the only non vegetarian option in it. Other than that the place serves great curries and naan and chilled mugs with chilled beer which I loved. Should be your first preference for indian food in ninh binh

  Stopped in for dinner looking for something with some spice as a break from typical Vietnamese cuisine. Ordered the rampuri spiced paratha and rara gosht and a fresh coconut and a water. It was all really nice came out fresh and hot with a decent level of spice for this area. Everything was very clean, the food came out quickly, they have WiFi and ac. Sunil was my server and a gem as well. Everything with a smile and checked in throughout to make sure I was settled 😊 plus everyone else who worked there and passed through was so kind as well. I paid 314k for everything after taxes👍 ** accepts credit card also!

  Great food and excellent service! Kudos to Salil who gives excellent experience at Saffron. This is our second visit in this branch and the food is still awesome! Will definitely visit again!

  As a chef this place shocked me. Who knew the best Indian food of my life would be in Vietnam. Everything was absolutely perfect, seasoned to the upmost degree taking it to that point of wanting to drink it. I cannot recommend this place enough. The food came fast, hot & technically perfect. Don’t skip

  A very good Indian restaurant at Ninh Binh area Vietnam for getting a taste of Indian cuisine in lunch and dinner. Located around 12 /13 kilometres from Trang An Lake, the area houses many shops etc. During our 20+ members' group tour to Ninh Binh, we had our lunch here. The food quality and taste was very good. The staffs were cooperative and sitting space is sufficient for a medium sized group. Additional advantage is free usage of wash rooms. Menus included, salad, Dal, Vegetable curry, chicken and fish, rice / roti, raita, papad, dessert etc. Highly recommended for Indians visiting Ninh Binh.

  I’m afraid we would have to give this 3.5. We got palak paneer, butter chicken, rice and paratha. The paneer was delicious, but the butter chicken was not our favourite. We would have enjoyed a broader variety of meat curry to choose that included spicier options. That said, it was a refreshing change in our palette from the past few weeks in Vietnam.
