  Loved everything about our over 3 hours exploring this complex. It felt almost empty which added to the serene feeling you get walking around here. Spend the money and get the hop on hop off trolley and going to the top of the tower. Walking along the Arhaut Corridor was a highlight for us. So well worth your time while visiting the Ninh Binh area.

  Bai Dinh Temple is the largest Buddhist temple complex in Southeast Asia, and the sheer scale of the place is mind-blowing. The complex consists of two pagodas: the ancient pagoda hidden high in the mountains, where monks still live, and the massive new pagoda open to visitors. After taking a shuttle car from the ticket booth, I spent nearly two hours exploring the enormous grounds. And... still did not manage to see everything. The most unforgettable part was the endless hallway lined with rows of monk statues on both sides, creating a surreal and almost majestic atmosphere. Bai Dinh feels less like a temple visit and more like stepping into a grand spiritual city filled with incredible architecture and hidden corners waiting to be discovered.

  Visited Bai Dinh Pagoda today and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The temple area is huge, so there is a golf cart service that takes visitors up to one point before walking around. The weather was nice, with lots of trees and fresh air, but be prepared because there is quite a lot of walking. Along the way, there are many beautiful statues, wall paintings, and photo spots to stop and rest. Peaceful and impressive place, definitely worth visiting at least once.

  We hadn’t planned to come here, just decided randomly on a rainy morning and….it was one of the highlights of our time in Ninh Binh! Beautiful place! We kinda got scammed tho haha, the ladies in the reception did some upselling and we weren’t really sure of what they were offering or saying, but definitely worth it! We payed for both the Valley and Pagoda tickets. The Valley is definitely quieter, and it was nice to see. It can be skipped tho. The Pagoda area…wordless!! It’s an actual Buddhist city! So many little and big temples and other monuments. Extremely beautiful. It was also beautiful to see people praying and honouring their culture and religion. To western tourists: please be respectful, wear modest clothing and do not take pictures of locals praying without consent :) Additional note: we recommend walking aro un instead of taking the electric cars. It definitely gives you a better impression of how big the place is, how silent it can be and how majestic.

  Easy peaceful experience with beautiful temples- plan to spend a few hours exploring and pay a little extra to use the electric car shuttle to get around. Great day trip from Tam Coc especially if you stay to see everything light up at night

  If I could give 6 stars, I would! Make sure to choose the second ticket option at the entrance it includes access to the tower, and the view from the top is absolutely the highlight. Truly one of the most amazing sights I’ve ever seen. The temple itself is very well preserved and impressive. The only downside is that directions and maps on-site can be a bit confusing, so I’d recommend getting a guide to make the most of your visit.

  A very impressive and विशाल (huge) temple complex with beautiful architecture and a peaceful atmosphere. The scale of the place is incredible, with long corridors of statues and well-maintained grounds that make it feel grand and unique. It can get quite crowded at times, and there’s a lot of walking and stair climbing involved, so be prepared if you plan to explore the entire area. Despite that, the surroundings and views are worth it, especially if you enjoy cultural and spiritual sites. Overall, it’s a memorable place to visit in Ninh Binh and definitely worth adding to your itinerary at least once.

  This place is honestly massive. The parking area alone felt big enough for several stadiums though there were only 30 vehicles parking when we went there. At some point we got used to the weird emptiness around us. The whole complex is so huge that the full electric shuttle ticket is basically a no-brainer so get that ticket (300,000 per person). The shuttle system works surprisingly well and makes moving between stops very easy. The giant Buddha statues and going up to the tower were impressive, and we also enjoyed a quiet café and a good foot massage at Stop 13. We spent around 3 hours there and still skipped the ancient pagoda because the area is simply enormous. Interesting place to visit for sure, but my advice: don’t spend too long at each stop or you’ll never finish the whole complex.
