  We’ve had such a fantastic stay at Emeralda Resort! Sau has been amazing. He took us on a guided tour of Hang Mua to see the lying dragon, on a boat trip along Trang An and to the Hoa Lu citadel. Great location, delicious buffet breakfast and the loveliest staff!

  We had a wonderful 3 nights at the Emeralda in Ninh Binh. The location is just stunning, a real oasis. Our room was very rustic and charming. All the staff were great. Our tour to Bich Dong and Tam Coc with the outstanding Mr Thong was just fantastic giving lots of information and taking care of us the whole time. He also took us to the most beautiful place for lunch. What a lovely gentleman he is. Of course thanks also to the driver. We ate at the Oasis restaurant twice for dinner - the goat curry is highly recommended. We were looked after so well by Yen (Jenna) who was so welcoming and friendly. The only downside to our stay was that it was Vietnamese holiday for our last 2 days which meant the hotel wasn’t the peaceful haven we had hoped for but that was our error. We would most definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a more nature orientated hotel in a stunning location

  Emeralda resort Ninh Binh was an excellent experience. Located a little out the way but on a nice peaceful place. Amazing pool, excellent food and the pool was brilliant. It was the off season so the resort was very quiet but the staff were very accommodating In particular the breakfast was very good and the best I have had at a hotel in a very long time. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting the area looking for a very nice retreat. Thank you

  A wonderful and peaceful retreat in Ninh Binh. Emeralda Resort offers beautiful surroundings, spacious rooms, excellent food, and exceptional hospitality. The resort’s traditional Vietnamese architecture and lush gardens create a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after exploring the area. The staff were warm and attentive throughout our stay. Highly recommended for couples and anyone looking for a tranquil getaway.

  Nice place but dirty in places. E.g. the shower and we had rats & rat droppings outside our room. Breakfast restaurant in particular is beautiful. The whole resort is very nicely designed. It’s nice to have free access to billiards and mini golf. The gym and pool were both nice. It’s a shame nothing is open past 10pm. We would have liked to have continued to have a drink in the bar.

  The hotel and surroundings are amazing! Beautiful gardens all around you… the hotel is a big garden with villas that are actually houses. I loved it! The food at the restaurants are good and reasonable price. Good variety of food at breakfast. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools are great, staff is kind. Golf cars are available often to take you to the different facilities. Rental bikes in place, Spa and gym. Highly recommended even though a bit isolated from main sight seeings locations 20-30 min average but Grab (taxis) come quickly to pick you up when need it.

  Hotel room amazing in quality and size. Restaurant food very good quality and very reasonable. Brilliant location and very helpful reception desk. First hotel that would change UK pounds to Vietnamese Dong - Big relief as needed local currency due to ATM issue in Hanoi. Highly recomended.

  The location is good but still about 20-25 minutes drive from the main areas to visit. Facilities after 15 years are getting a bit outdated. The most disappointing part was the food quality at the restaurant. We had 2 dinners. While breakfast is ok I had higher expectations for the food at the restaurant. I have no problem paying a higher price but it should come with higher quality food. Definitely can be improved. Staff was helpful. Pool table very old and outdated. Would I recommend it ? Maybe one night.
