  The bird park is huge. We can ride a bike to travel every places in the park. There are a lot of attraction sites and activities. You can visit the caves, ride the boat to see the cave and birds. The flower garden is very beautiful. You can spend a whole day there. For people who love nature and taking pictures

  We didn't stay for lodging but went primarily to see the park and bird sanctuary. We took the boat to the bird sanctuary expecting that from the boat we can go up the observation hut but it wasn't possible. That's a pity as there was a docking area where we can get off and walk up. Disappointed we went back to the boat station and was met by a friendly staff. She listened to disappointment and explained what we can do. With the info and good advice she gave we understood the situation. As per advice we decided to go back for the 2nd time with the boat to still watch the birds. It was a very good advice from her. She's very friendly and helpful. Because of her we ended being happy and satisfied with this activity. Great job! Thank you👍

  We had a great stay at Thung Nham Resort. The service was excellent — very friendly and helpful staff, especially at reception. The resort is quite large, but getting around is easy thanks to the electric trams, which is a really nice touch. The views are stunning, and the gardens are beautiful and peaceful. The food was also very good — fresh and tasty with plenty of choice. Overall, a fantastic place to relax in Ninh Binh. Highly recommended!

  My visit to Thung Nham Ecotourism Zone was truly refreshing and close to nature. The place is beautifully maintained, surrounded by limestone mountains, greenery, lakes, and peaceful walking paths. It feels calm, natural, and far away from the rush of city life. The bird valley was a highlight—watching birds return to their nests in the natural setting was a lovely experience. Exploring the caves, gardens, and scenic viewpoints was equally enjoyable, and everything felt well-organised yet untouched by excessive commercialization. The atmosphere here is quiet and soothing, making it perfect for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature. I really appreciated how clean and serene the entire area was Overall, Thung Nham Ecotourism Zone offers a beautiful mix of nature, peace, and gentle adventure. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ninh Binh. 🌿🕊️

  This review is also only for the park, not the resort. I did not stay at the resort, only visited the park. Entrance fee is 250,000 VNÐ, +40,000 VNÐ if you want electric cart to take around (very easy to walk around if you are capable). The park was very pretty, nice to walk through, very relaxing and peaceful. I don't know if I went during a downtime but there was almost nobody in the park. I saw maybe one small group of tourists and 3 or 4 workers. It was very empty, no food or drinks, though I did see vending machines but I did not try to use them. I did the boat ride through the first cave but did not do the other boat ride as there was nobody there. I had a slow day in Ninh Binh so I decided to come here, but I probably wouldn't make such an effort to come in the future. Getting a Grab to leave was impossible. Nobody is here. Better to rent a motorbike to come here (cheaper too)

  Amazing views and great experience exploring the caves and bird sanctuary. Would recommend. The only downside was the manager ambushed us to write a review, followed us and essentially was not letting us leave until we had given the place 5 stars.

  Landscape is incredible. But it’s super touristic and feels like Disney land. Authenticity is close to 0 (fake decoration, super loud music,…) , a lot of tourists are rude and noisy.. but the place is amazing so I’m mitigated if it’s worth it. I think you can find better alternatives.

  Locstion is amazing, but important to note that the accomodation is inside the middle of a tourist park. It is not like a wildlife resort you would expect in another place. This is quite touristy. The rooms were lovely, very comfortable and stylish and value for money. Challenges is the coming and going. There are multiple security checkpoints and the block you until you try explain your staying in the park. Also the facilities within the resort once the park closes is very limited. It really is a lovely spot, visiting the birds was soo worth it. But it was not the tranquil escape from the town I was hoping for and even with private transport difficult to come and go. Reccomend comming in a group woth lots of snacks.
