We were looking at well reviewed places. There was com nieu panda with over 2.4k reviews but the latest reviews lacked any sort of specificity. This place on the other hand had relatively recent reviews with some pictures and specific mention of dishes. I'm so glad my wife did some further research. This place serves claypot rice that is what com nieu means. You pair the claypot rice with either fish, pork, vegetable broth and side dishes. We had the rice with site fried Bok Choy, bbq pork ribs and aince meat and vegetables soup. The first experience was having Bok Choy. How good could a plate of green vegetable taste? Apparently 5 stars good. The least stellar was the bbq pork ribs which was still very flavoursome. The star of the show is indeed the rice with the mince meat soup base. Like my daughter would say, 'Ah....maaaazing!' Both the 8 and 11yo ate without so much as a pause or even a peep (which is unusual to say the least). We devoured 4 claypots of rice and cleaned the plates of any remnants of food. Lunch tomorrow...oh yeah.

    Good meal

Excellent! Loved the delicious and well balanced food, the affordable prices (for the locals and tourists), and how clean the venue feels. The bathroom is super clean and well lit. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Note the number of clay pot rice is served by the number of people, but if you don't open it, you won't be charged. Could not ask for a better family meal experience.

The food and price are OK here. We just shared Beef nuddles and steamed vegetables as a couple and it was cooked and presented OK. We did not try anything special like hot pot or clay pot but can defenitly recommend this place if you are hungry snd just want to eat something decent. The waitress spoke a good level of English and was consulting very good which is a great plus if you come here as a non-vietnamese tourist like myself.

Good Vietnamese food with the famous earthen pot rice. We tried many dishes including shrimps, fish, etc and it surely was very delicious. We went during Tet holiday thus it was very crowded and this affected the quality of service. I found it to be disappointing but cannot say exactly if it's because of the crowd or it's the normal way there. Will try to go there during normal days if possible and check it.The traditional Vietnamese fish along with the pot rice is the best combo to eat at this type of shops. And surely this shop didn't disappoint as these 2 dishes were really very good.1 star deducted because they served us cold rice.

Had soup which was okay but no condiments were offered. I didn't feel I was charged the correct amount of the bill.

Ok, so it was the most disgusting chicken salad that I have ever seen in my life: it was literally bones, skin and a lot of onion. I couldn’t understand from there this score 4.8 - then Ive checked that most of the reviews were created by bots. Don’t waste your time on this place.
