I really enjoyed my stay at Bui Hostel. The staff is really kind and helpful. My room was a dorm bunk bed and it was really comfortable! Located close to many coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance and a coop grocery store. Towels are provided, shower water is warm, and there are lockers for personal belongings. I would stay here again. Thank you for making me feel comfortable in Bui Hostel :) I will see you next time.

The hosts were great, friendly, all the hospitality I came to expect from the southern part of Vietnam. I had just started my monthlies, and the husband went and got a hot bowl of noodle for me, the wife offered to get me toiletries if I needed some. And that was all in the first 30 minutes of me getting there at almost midnight! Ended up staying there 3 days before going to Nam Du island (per recommendation) instead of the 2 I orginally planned for. They made sure I was comfortable and cooked food for everyone. If you're ever in Rach Gia, and need a place to stay, they're the best choice.

I had a great stay, the family who runs it, uncle , aunty and their daughter all seemed really sweet and were kind and helpful. The bed is super comfortable, really good for the price you pay, the ac in the room was sufficient. There was also a family of cat living , 2 kittens and 2 adult cats, it was good to play with them. The place is close to ferry and they also booked my bus tickets and had a free transfer to bus stand.

good location, low price It was a nice experience when staying here. - pros: good location, low price, books - cons: pretty old, limited time (~mid night) - price: 120k/day (dorm) I stayed here for a week. It was nice for me. There is a cat. He/she is cute and friendly. In the end, I met the expectation as a backpacker.

Great location five minutes walk from the ferry to Phu Quoc island. The lady running the hostel is super friendly and speaks good english, and arrange ferry and taxi for me. The room was large and clean with nice funky art and a good bed, two couches, chair and table and more. Great place. I shall return.

Really nice owners. Good location for catching the boat to Phu Quoc.||However, our room was really gross. The bed sheets were stained, had hairs and dead bugs on them. The bathroom was even worse. It was obviously not cleaned since there was still trash laying around from previous visitors. There was even a blood clot in the shower! We couldnt stay here and left.

Your best choice for spending one or a few nights in Rach Giá on your way to the islands, travelling from/to Cambodia or exploring the region!||||Centrally located, at walking distance from the ferries, clean and well taken care of - at BUI Hostel you can choose between bunk beds and private rooms with A/C and hot water!||||And then there are Nhựt (Fidel for easier communication) and Hà - the couple owning and managing the hostel! What great hosts; caring, friendly, supportive and understanding besides both speaking English!!!||||I believe some of the negative feedback of BUI Hostel on this platform must refer to the previous management - I stayed two weeks at BUI Hostel as I was recovering after a motorbike crash and would never have made it without Nhựt & Hà taking such a good care of my well-being! And staying so long I had more than a chance to see how they care about their place too.||||So definitively, come and stay at BUI Hostel! And come back as a friend.

Stayed at Bui for one night ready for my early morning boat to Phu Quoc. I stayed in room 5, which is advertised as a King with a balcony. I was very impressed and would recommend people to check it out. It's exactly what I expect a hostel to be: kooky, cozy, and a bit weird. There's pretty much nothing to do in Rach Gia, but for one night it is ok. Decor is like an old student house, which I really like. The room looked exactly like the photos. Highly recommend for £10 per night.
