  I highly recommend visiting the Thai Hai Village. You become immersed in their culture and experience a truly invaluable way of life. You get to learn about their traditional dances, music, and delicious food, such as rice cakes and green tea. The area is very peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it a completely unique experience. it was truly worth visiting the village to experience their authentic identity and traditions. The village is also very easy to reach from Hanoi.

  I think everyone should visit Thai Hai village. It’s a beautiful village surrounded by nature and the villagers are preserving Thai Hai culture. My time there was transformational and grounding. I learned so much about being Tay people and the importance of tradition and preserving culture. The children are multilingual and really advanced. The villagers are kind, intelligent, and have a pure connection with nature. They’re passionate about their values and see all living beings as family. The story behind how the village started stuck with me. It started with love and the village is growing because of it. They are the epitome of community and family. I highly recommend everyone to visit!

  Had SO much fun. Was only there for one night with a big group of travellers, but we all had the most amazing time. The food as excellent and the people were friendly. Everything was enjoyable, however be prepared for very hard mattresses and pillows!!

  I loved my visit to Thai Hai Village!Everyone was so warm and welcoming. You get the chance to see their daily lifestyle up close, and they’re always happy to share stories and traditions with you. The children are especially sweet, super curious and excited to interact, which makes the visit even more fun. I also got to try their honey tea and traditional rice cakes, both delicious. There’s something really special about this place. If you’re around, it’s definitely a must-see!

  Such an amazing experience, one of the best of my life even! The people there are SO welcoming and friendly, you can really experience their culture and sense of community. I loved that it’s not just a tourisy spot either, they really live this traditional way and it’s their life. So interesting to see. The kids are soooo cute too! Also the food was really good, and the rooms just what we expected. I recommend it to everyone!!

  What a gem! I’ve spent amazing couple days in Thai Hai village. Was able to meet local people and immerse in their culture. Everyone in the village is really friendly and helpful. They would always, at least try and speak some English to you. The kiddos-so adorable! I loved to watch them run around and perform. The scenery is also very tranquil. There is a river, lots of trees and greens. The village itself is very nice and relaxing place to come and unwind for a while as well as it’s a great place if you want to learn more about their ethnic group. Thank you for an amazing stay!
